Ugh, I hate Pink Floyd. Their songs are slow, mundane, and don't even make sense.

If anything, I hope that it has techno.

Hey, Pink Floyd is amazing, and their songs aren't supposed to make sence.

On topic, I'll throw in $20 for Schwabinchin. :) The MS news has me hoping there will be no more trims on the drop, but it is probably just a pipe dream. I'm disappointed the announcement won't be until January, but deep down, I figured that was true all along. And Jo, what was the "Are You Ready" video like? I can't wait to see it.

Now I can't wait until opening day. If Mean Streak is improved, it might be like having two new coasters (lets face it, anything done on Mean Streak is probably for the better).

Is it possible that they are working on the first three turns so that the trims are no longer needed? If that was the case, it would be awesome. It wouldn't make MS all of a sudden a world class woodie, but it would definitely be a step in the right direction.

Ohhh I love Pink Floyd. I have always wanted to do a CP video and set it to the Dark Side of the Moon. I am a huge Floyd fan. After I moved back home I had MORE Pink Floyd realted items on my wall than CP items!!!!!!!

Hey Jo. Where were you?

I was at the table that keep yelling when we got called for prizes. :)

Matt, (Skykicker) Tony, (Tony) Dr ;) Ken, (not a GTTP'er) and GOCC VP Bob MacCallum (non-GTTPer too, I think) and I were way in the back. We were the trouble maker table. We knew from the GOCC party to sit as far away from people as we could-good plan too! ;) I wore my bestest cowgirl clothes! :)

Chris: MS with no trims? Now there's a thought (wish) but I doubt it . The best ride I ever got on MS was during CMs ERT this season-in the dark, was awesome! I guess the sounds of vertebrae cracking isn't so bad in the dark ;)
The "Are you Ready?" video is around a minute and 1/2 long. It's simply all the coasters going in sync with the music playing. Very well done and you can bet I'll be one of the 1st to download it. My baby looked too good on it! :)
Forget Pink Floyd too mellow for me. Korn would be cool but how about some Fear Factory or Static X??? :)

I still say Jay Z :)

I REALLY hope that MS will be better this season. Atleast they need to fix the break your back roughness. Then take the trims off.

Static X? Maybe.
Megadeth? That would be sweet.
Metallica? That would be awesome!
Slayer? I would fall out of my chair in convulsions! :)

OK this post is about how blue streak is gettin retracked. I went down the causeway today and i looked at the blue streak and it looked like the new track is alredy in place. My bro was right by it that one day someone took those pics and drove down perimeter rd. and he said that it was in progress already. Just thought i woudl tell everyone who cares that i think it has almost or already been completed.

Pink Floyd is anything but mellow, what "Comfortably Numb?" One song out of many? Their songs do make sense, they're just over the MTV generation's heads, because they don't sing about crotches, or shooting people, or degrading women, which embarassingly enough seems to be as far as many of today's "artist's" imaginations or "writing" capabilities go. I think some awesome trance would be nice.

I hope that wasn't directed towards me, because I don't even get satellite or cabel. :) And the bands I listed don't get played on MTV much, if at all. Metal and alternative is what I like, not poppy crap seen on MTV.

No CP Bound, it wasn't directed at you! Not at all. Just venting about the embarassing state of the music industry, and sorry, I shouldn't be. Not on this thread anyhow : )

Pink Floyd is awesome, even though they made their best music before I was born. And Dan, I like your video idea. We could start "Speak to Me" as soon as the Magnum
starts to climb the lift hill, and time it so "Breathe" begins when it reaches the top and starts to go down (the screams would fit perfectly). OK, I'm getting carried away.

I wasn't asking "what's Comfortably Numb?"....I was saying that was probably the most mellow song they have....I really like Meddle: "Echoes" & "Fearless," & "One of These Days." But "Animals" is my favorie by them though. By the way, Dark Side of the Moon was on the billboard charts longer than any other album in history...
