Hear-say about ride/restaurant

I heard from more then one person that they were supposedly going to also be making the worlds tallest revolving restaurant. I'm new here but not new to the park (drive 7 hours at least 10 times in the summer). I personally would like to see some sort of an inversion since CP seems to lack them (compared to other parks). My info came from a worker at the park who also said that they believed that this is the last BIG ride for CP because of some new laws. thanks for your time.

I've heard that restaurant rumor, too. Could this be one of the tables?

No, its the world's tallest fastest bathroom!! Get it right!! Come on all the employees are supposed to know exactly what the new attraction will be, they all got a briefing on it and were told not to leak it or they'd get their heads chopped off and put on a crane (apparently they weren't joking!!!) too bad for that guy that told you about the new attraction ...

What's funny is that all the employees around the park still try to convince me it's a restaurant

It's almost sad that a post on GTTP, meant to be taken only in good humor, is now being passed along by employees as fact.

Isn't the tallest revolving restaurant on the Canadian National Tower? That would be a hard record to beat.

George, I suggest you might try reading some of the forums and threads before you post questions or statements. I realize being new, and not spending a lot of time on the forum you are unaware of a lot that has been previously discussed.

The revolving restaurant was a joke started months ago. That's why you got the reaction you did. And it's already been discussed that Chaos is likely to be moved to where Schwabinchen was. Troika is going to be closer to Wicked Twister.

Just for the sake of interest, the CN Tower in Toronto, ON is indeed the current record holder of the world's tallest revolving restaurant... at a height of 351 m (1,150 ft.)...

So now we're looking at a 351m L-TH-Restaurant-B ?

Sounds good to me!

My best friend and I (both former employees) used to swap speculation filled stories we'd heard from other employees about the future of Cedar Point just for ****s and grins.

Some of the stories we've heard:

Cedar Point's next coaster is going to go underwater.- heard by my best friend in the summer of 1998.

Dick Kinzel is trying to get Casino Gambling legalized in Ohio so he can turn Breakers Express into a Casino.- overheard by myself at Louie's in the summer of 2000.

This restaurant rumor is too rich. CP employees often make fun of the guests, maybe someone should tell some of them that the word 'gullible' isn't in the dictionary just to see how many of them look it up to prove that it is...

C Rider, that was one of the most fantastic places I've ever been. I'm terrified of heights (HATED the glass elevator to the top), but I really loved the setting of the restaurant. It was dusk when we went, so we got to set the sun set and the city light up.

Most beautiful man-made sight I've ever seen...

I had difficultly walking accros that glass floor, but I coudn't muster the courage to walk across the part furthest away from the tower...woowhee. Now that's an expeirence more amusement parks should look into... glass floors high up unnerve me even more than the tallest roller coaster.

I thought that that glass floor was sweet. What they should do is make a glass floor to the roller coaster train.....now that would be something....
