More than one launch?

#16 hasn't looked like anything more than a L:TH:TW:B but that doesn't mean we can't throw a few more possibilities into the mix. I know that this theory is highly unlikely due to limited real estate, but we still can't draw a solid conclusion from what we've seen so far in the pictures. After all, Cedar Point hasn't given us anything in writing yet and there are still many months left for construction before next season. Besides, Intamin has already shown us a number of coasters with multiple launches in the past, so why not build on the technology? A 300+ foot top hat is one hell of an element in itself, but imagine that it was meant to be the concluding element of #16. It doesn't get much better than that. Of course, it is just wishful thinking, but possible nonetheless.

Why is everybody against posting new topics? Not every post is relevant to a current topic. All I see is sarcasm.

I've been reading this message board for a long time. Just thought it was about time I start putting some ideas out there. We all have the right to an opinion, don't we?

Sorry Christopher, the topic might have gone somewhere, but by luck of the draw, these boneheads managed to be the first posters, and thus, probably have doomed the topic.

Btw, two seperate launches is unlikely considering how all the launch track so far has been numbered T-1, through T-14-ish.

If there was going to be some "pre-ride" before the huge launch and tophat, you would have seen at least ONE footer being poured for that portion of the ride by now. Why can't people just realize how awesome this L-TH-B ride is going to be?

frankly, there seems to be strange(and to me, stupid) idea from this pic http://www.setecx.com/pics/cp102602const/imagepages/PICT0218.html

that there could be a chain lift somewhere. I don't see a dog track thingy but that hole looks like some kind of pulley or chain goes there. Anthoer thing to me that looks like it might be doulble launch is the fact that there are to colors, and we are aware that it changes to red going up and comes down and stops. But why are there two colors of lanch(chain?) track then?

Who the hell died and made you God? Back off, he asked a valid question. If you got a problem with what he wrote, don't reply to it. Everyone wonders why these topics get closed so fast, it's because of the actions of people like you. This is a forum FOR FUN. We're not out to insult and degrade other people. If you got something valid to add, please do. If you don't, then just leave "are (our) dumb topics" alone.

Now, I for one would love to see a multiple launch. The idea of it sounds great, especially if there's an element of surprise. But, I don't think we'll see a multiple launch if this ride is more than launch, top hat, done.

i know its launch track, im saying that since there are two colors, shouldnt there be two sections of it? i mean the color switch happens up the hill from white to red. i see both launch track colors. maybe the "brake track" isnt going to be there in the end, and CP is confusing everyone

Expect the launch track to be white until you start the pull-up and then it will become red, thus the name "Redline."
