Zones and Wicked Twister

  Does anyone know how Wicked Twister is going to affect the zones for rides?  While I know that looking at the location of the coaster it is almost certain that it will be located in zone 1, however this will leave zone 1 with 11 differenet ride crews and this would make zone 1 by far the largest zone in terms of ride crews.  Would the addition of Wicked Twister thus force a ride from zone 1 to go into zone 2?  Also, if I would guess what ride would go into zone 2 I would say it would be Cadillac Cars.

Well, this is something that I would know for once.  Someone was telling me about this over the summer.  Power tower is the ride that moves from zone to zone.  Power tower is going to be in Zone three, so it will start at Power tower instead of Corkscrew.  I hope that might help a bit...

Power Tower WAS in zone 3 when it opened, and in '99.  I'd think they'd put WT in zone 2, Ocean Motion and Peanuts Playground are in zone 2, but the Oceana area is a grey one anyway. 

I could see Cad cars moving to zone 2, hey why not?

All I know is that I heard a sup telling me how Power Tower is moving to Zone three. They said that it was the ride that always moves from zone to zone so that the zones are equal.  And for some reason I would trust him...I don't know why....call me gay!(ha ha ha, that was a funny!)

Trust me on this, Wicked Twister will be in Zone 1 and Cads will be in zone 2 and PT is going NOWHERE!

I Thik It Will Be In Zone 1 Becouse Zone 2 Starts With Ocean Motion And Wicked Twister Is Being Built before Ocean Motion On The Midway.

Zones exist in other departments in addition to rides. In rides it is a grouping of rides that is overseen by a supervisor. Then each ride or ride circle has its own team leader and assistant team leader. Usually this is geographical. Like zone 1 is in the front and so on.

I think WT will be in Zone 1 and PT will move back to Zone 3.  As for the Cadillac Cars, I think they will stay in Zone 1.

Another example of zones is for the sweeps. Zone 1-5, 5 being in the front, and so forth. There are also two areas, Area 1, and Area 2.
