Your Favorite Memory at Cedar Point

Wow, there are a zillion to choose from especially when you go a lot with different people. Here's a few:

1.) My friend Nancy and I going on Magnum 10x in what seemed like a monsoon (ouch!) but it was a blast. We were actually glad when they finally closed the ride down because we were getting nervous about the safety in that kind of rain.

Then there was the dancing with all of the Halloween creatures on the midway. That was cool because it was so young and fun feeling.

2.) Everytime me and my friend Mario would go we would run around like maniacs trying to ride anything and everything we could; coasters, flats, whatever. You were lucky to get us to stop and eat or pee :)

3.) The time I went with like 3 or 4 people from work (all PT fans, which I am certainly not... anyway I finally "strapped on a set" and got on it like 5 times in a row (all the down side) and by the 3rd time it was starting to feel really fun.

4.) and definitely going on MF with my now boyfriend, who was just a friend then. It was his first time on it and the look on his face was absolutely priceless. I didn't know if he was gonna pee himself or pass out!

So many good times there even when the weather is crappy, it just feels so good to be there. It always feels like home.

Cedar Point is closed for the season. Reason? Freezin!

My best memory has to be near the end of the 2000 season. It was when I broke my fear of heights and rollercoasters.

I had just met someone that moved from Texas and never riden extrteme coasters either, so we worked our way up - Bluestreak to Millenium. Backseat Bluestreak he lost his hat. After riding Magnum we stopped by blue streak to get the hat from the gracious ride-ops. After riding Millenium and looking at our picture we realized he never took the hat off, and it stayed on one seat from the back.

That day I gained a great friend and learned Blue Streak is truely the most extreme ride of all!!!

Race For The Sky.... at 120mph!

Best memories:

1970: The first time I was convinced to ride Blue Streak and lost my fear of coasters.

1978: The first full weekend trip I took, with the man who is now my husband. He carved a heart in the sand with our initials in it.

1992: Took my son for the first time. He was 6 years old, 48" tall, and rode every single coaster. I took my first ride on Magnum on that trip as well. Magnum turned me into an enthusiast.
