What YOUR favorite Cedar Point memory?
That's a tough question! There are so many great memories of visiting CP:
As a kid, with the parents, probably the awe I felt that such a place existed! The upside down Funhouse comes to mind.
As a late teen/early 20's person, probably the Coasters that were there at the time (early 80's).
As a family man with stepkids, Magnum. No doubt about it. I swore I'd never sit my butt in that thing ever again! Scared the crap out of me! I actually started smoking again 10 minutes after my first ride. I have ridden it countless times since. ('89)
As a guy with a friend to happens to be a girl, MF. I would have NEVER gotten on MF without her urging. She jumps out of perfectly operating airplanes, for gosh sakes! She rode it hands up all the way. I shook for 20 minutes after getting off of that monster. (2000)
As an uncle with his sister and neice and nephew, just being there. On point, walking over to ride a Coaster whenever you felt like it. Oh, and Bubbles. My, the money I spent there! (01/02)
So, how about you? What is/are your favorite memories of heaven on earth, Cedar Point?

"If we go any faster, she'll blow apart for sure!"
My favorite memory at CP was when I finally had someone who wanted to ride with me on all the rides This was only back in 2000 when my wife, then girlfriend, & I went.
Pretty much everytime I went with a group of people who decided to leave me by myself. I would ride all the coasters & other rides by myself. I actually was asked one time to ride with a little kid on Jr. Gemini, because, he didn't have an adult to ride with & I was alone. I often wasted my money on the games, because I was lonely.
I know that might seem pretty pathetic, but, it's true.
On that mini marathon, I also remember I talked with some enthusiasts who told us about the "ejector seat." I don't think I have been in any other seat for more than maybe a ride or two since!
Also, I can remember just a tiny bit about my first trip to CP, when I rode my first roller coaster (as far as I can remember), and heard from my older brother about how great Cedar Point was compared to Geauga Lake.
One last thing: My older brother (who probably hasn;t been to the Point since MilF was built) telling me how Magnum went so fast that you couldn't scream. Obviously he was wrong! :)

Avalanche Run - My first Roller Coaster.
Magnum XL-200 - The BEST Roller Coaster!
Closing weekend was great too. I went on Saturday, stayed till like 12:30, which is when I got off Millennium Force. Then I just walked around by myself. I was awesome.

"I gotta be crazy...I'm on a pilgrimage to see a moose!"
When I first rode Magnum. I remember begging my Mom not to make me ride. Two months later, I was begging to ride MF.
In 2001, I bought a water bottle in line for Magnum. It was only half-empty when I got to the station, and I couldn't throw it away or leave it on the platform. So I took it on the ride and halfway thru the ride, it flew outta the seat. My sister and the people behind us were laughing so hard. From now on I finish my drink before I get in line.
A happy memory was when I went to CP with a school club in '02. I was the only one with a season pass and I rode MF four times that day, more than the other people.
I have about 500 more memories, but I don't want to get boring. Bye.

Dragster Rides: Hopefully a Lot...
Some old guy lost his hat on Corkscrew, my aunt had her hand up and she caught it. I don't know how but she ended up snagging it. The guy seemed very gracious.

However, I think one time that stands out the most was when I went with my school's math club last May. I wasn't even in math club, but my chemistry teacher was one of the advisors. He knew I loved CP, so he didn't even have to ask if I wanted to miss a day of school to tag along. People quized me the whole way there on the bus, trying to see if they could come up with a CP question that would stump "the guru".
Once we got there, we were supposed to divide into groups of at least 2 and let the advisors know who we were with. However, about 25 of the 30 people there chose to be in my group. Nothing can make you feel more important than leading a group of about 15 girls around the park as they fight over who gets to ride with you. Although we only got to stay for about 6 hours before getting on the bus again, it was an amazing day.
