You know who I feel bad for?

Yeah, her name is Michelle I think. She didn't lose her voice from telling people, she lost it to a cold. I talked to her for a couple of hours on the 5th. Stupid bragging*I gave here the idea of making the sign*Stupid bragging done. LOLBrian Noble said:
A few weeks back, the poor girl in entrance during the extended outage had completely lost her voice. She was holding a handwritten sign that people could read. Now *her* I felt sorry for.

Millennium circuits: 5
Raptor flights: 7
Total Coaster Count: 25

I do feel sorry for those people who have to do things like that, because there are so many stupid people who think that just because you pay so much money to enter the park, you are guaranteed to ride everything, like Top Thrill Dragster. Then they start getting stupid attitudes and get mad in an outrage yelling at those people for not opening it. And I think it's pretty stupid because Thomas Payne told me that if they closed it down, it probably doesn't work. Not because they don't want you to ride it, but because it's not going to launch.

People get mad as if it's Cedar Point's fault for things not working, they are machines, at least they are there for them to ride sometimes. It's only going to get better from all the innovation mishaps that are occurring now.(The Gracious Professionalism of U.S. F.I.R.S.T.)

Life has it's ups and downs, might as well make it on a coaster!

First of all, I never blamed the guests. I also never said they didn't have a reason to be upset nor did I insult them.

I said I feel sorry for Cedar Point. Think about it, do you really think they want it to be down? They built this attraction because they want guests to come in and ride it, not look at it.

Honest truth told to me by marina gate readmissions host:

Host: Hand stamped, two cents.

Me: That's cool, I think I have two cents.

Host: I better not take it, by the time you leave here its all you'll have.

I am going to work at CP in two summers, I hope, and I hope I don't get put at a big popular ride. People get very very p!ssed when they find out a ride is closed. No fault but theirs, but they let anger out on the people working @ the ride.

Yeah, from the ride op's I've talked to (Raptor Jo etc....) Entrance is the worst part of being a ride op.

Sitting there all day and saying the same thing over and over. I'd lose interest after 15 minutes. Gotta give credit to those ride ops though for sticking it out.

LOL, my favorite on this site is somehow it is the "guests" fault that this thing is down and they are the only problem. You feel sorry for Cedar Point??? You have got to be kidding me. Hate to burst your bubble but it is either Intamin or Cedar Point or both that are responsible for the excessive downtime. Not the guests. Its absolutely amazing that some of you will defend CP at every single turn, no matter what. If it was Six Flags with these problems you would be bashing the hell out of them.

The major difference is that CP does not have the kind of reputation of rides being constantly down, Six Flags does.

New rides are always going to have unfortunate downtime. TTD has been down for a long time, but it is also brand new technology.

Give credit to CP for adding a TTD info page at the website. How many other parks have ever done that?

Beer and golf Thursday thru Monday, Cedar Point & beer, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Yes that I agree with. I was one of the original operators on SFGA's B&R The Chiller and that ride was a complete disaster. That ride opened for a day, then a weekend then it shut down for a complete year. And to this day it still doesn't run correctly. It wasn't actually SF's fault but it was still a tremendous mess.

All I hope is that TTD gets its bugs worked out and opens asap and for good. I'm coming in July and I can't wait!

how about all my fellow workers here who are assigned to the dragster and havent drawn a full paycheck since they are being shifted around to other spots in the park wherever hours are available. sounds like a fantastic idea for a summer vacation to me.
