Yellow Train Back

The yellow train was sitting on the transfer track today. It had no motor or wheels on the back. It also is a golden color and not the bright yellow that was assumed by some.

This is good news. Hopefully they get it on the main track soon. That would move the line so much faster.

I don't know that it will make a huge difference, but once the yellow train gets back online and the rest of the kinks are worked out, they might finally run at close to full capacity.

It will be quite a sight to see this thing running at its full capacity.

They will not be allowed to run the sixth train until the state certifies them to run six. I think it's safe to assume they wouldn't be trying to work it out during this weekend.

Yesterday Dragster was running like clockwork...except for a couple breakdowns. I don't think they were running a ghost train either because they loaded two in the station each cycle.

Yes, yesterday I noticed it was also running very well. We got in line at 8:30 pm. and got off at 10 pm.

Yes, the yellow train is back, it is still missing the TTD logo in the front as well. On sat it was on some trucks next to mean streak, then on sun it was on the storage tracks. It does look very odd with no back car. lol

Ralph, I just got back and did not see the smoke effect working all weekend.

TopThrillDude, the smoke didn't start working until later in the day on Sunday. It wasn't on when I rode in the morning.

Just an update:

Yesterday there were decals ("Top Thrill Dragster," "Cedar Point," etc) on the gold train, while on Sunday there were none.

I do not know if train gold was running or cycling today at all.

no they can only run 5 trains to the public, unless they got the yellow train certified today.

Oh well thanks for the info, and glad i am wrong, this weekend should be great. First major brake down and survived, suvenir(sp?) cups are in, 6 train operation on dragster, next three days are gonna be awesome!

the yellow train sat in the transfer track all day while the ride was operational to the public, they did test it in the morning but it was not running with GP on it, must not be certified yet, but hopefully soon, they seem to also be very close to the intervals with 5 train operation, i would say its about every 45 seconds or so, unless somthing happens to delay it, which has happened alot lately, but props go out to the crew for running the ride very effiecieatly the last couple of days
