WWL being disassembled

There is a simple solution for all of this, and I have three words for you all:

Lemon Chill Guy.

Coasters may have a long life at CP but flume rides do not.

Considering the number of coasters that have been removed versus the number of flume rides that have been removed. . .your case isn't that strong. : )

Plus, FYI for everyone: crediting every single thing to the "Lemonchill Guy" realllllllllllly isn't that funny. Once in a while, maybe. But really.

Especially since Lemon Chill hasn't been sold at CP in awhile.

I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.

LIVE ENTERTAINMENT brought up a good point there, I think if something does happen to White Water Landing, we'll probably see something the water flumes they have down in Universal Islands Of Adventure. Something with a lot of theming, and something where you can get wet at the same time.

"I wish they would rip it out, that would make the coming of a new coaster inevitable."

Really? No other rides could be planned to go there other than a coaster? I would hardly say inevitable.

2 words....SPLASH MOUNTAIN....just more extreme....better theming, like a canoe trip gone wrong or something

And no animatronic things singing 'Zip A Dee Doo Dah' over and over and over again.

Are you sure this isn't the Atlantic Ocean?

They HAD to get rid of the Lemon Chill... he was giving away too many secrets.

zip a dee doo dah...does get aggravating...how about...a hi-speed flume ride ..or a record breaking water coaster...

A ride combinging the elements of Thunder Canyon and White Water Landing would be pretty cool if CP was to get a new water ride (Canoes + Rafting experienc).

Last TTD train of the night (6-23/24).

I was there two weeks ago on a Friday and I noticed that the ride was down then too. There was a canoe in the trough and the water had emptied out. I had just walked past the ride's entrance and there were people in the line so it probably had a similar problem that day too. I wonder if they were trying to do some quick, temporary fixes until they got a replacement pump in.

I still think that the ride's footprint can be better utilized with another type of ride.

I can see something similar to Splash Mountain. Maybe a little wilder and thrilling at the same time:

Sounds like WWL is taking on the charecteristics of it's predecessor, Shoot the Rapids. It became problematic in the mid 1970's, and continued to be so untill it was razed for WWL.

A Water Coaster would be neat. I like to ride the few water rides CP has, but i have no desire to go to a water park all day. With the room they have, CP could make a water coaster that puts Kalahari to shame.

I rode WWL on Monday, so doesn't look like it's going anywhere just yet. Definitely time for something new though!

Splash Mountain type ride at CP? Sorry I think that would require themeing. Ohhhhhh

I think something along the lines of Journey to Atlantis at Sea World parks would be awesome! I wouldn't expect all of the theming, but something that transfers between water flume and roller coaster elements would be great.

Cedar Point rocks my socks.

Whatever happends to White Water Landing in the off-season, I'm sure Cedar Point will make it really cool. What Im worried about is if they'll knock out a lot of the trees that are still part of Cedar Point and have been there since the park opened in 1870.

I don't think I want a water coaster. I like the fact that on WWL you can cool down but not get completely drenched.
