WT/Oceana Midway still dead?

This midway needs a good HUSS to livin things up. my $.02

They need to take out and replace Disaster Transport with something, that building is so nasty and old looking, it's stupid.

DT needs a major reinvestment. double the size out past merchandising HQ and cash control into parking lot. imagine 2x as long with a second hill. a 4 min ride? hmm. yes, jay like. the only airconditioned 4 minute roller coaster and whats it cost? no extra staff to run it, virtually no demolition, sci fi ride is a good idea, but wasting it on avalanche run? sad. a second big (bigger: read min 100 foot) drop in airconditioning. & no weather to effect rides operation. if anything they should've enclosed the mine ride. done it up as a temple of doom type thing (mine = air conditioned. <end rant>

That would have been a blessing for me when I went but it never turns out like that for me. But Wicked Twister is usually busy, but Space Spiral,Troika, Chaos and the new/somewhat improved Disaster Transport were still dead items since last year it seems. So I really don't think it would have drawn people to that area nevertheless. They need something big at the corner where, Ocean Motion is. Maybe like an Alton Towers Oblivion that goes on to the beach (it probably wouldn't work with all of Wicked Twisters electric units, just my wishful thinking).

Life has it's ups and downs, might as well make it on a coaster!

When I was there on Monday (6/17) that midway was packed. It was close to an hour most of the day for WT, Chaos' line was spilling onto the midway, Troika was filling every seat. Even DT's wait was out to the first room you walk into.
