Worst Employee Experiences 03

My worst one would be while working at Soak City. A young girl hit her head on the slide on the way down. I told the mother if she didn't want to have her daughter to go to the hospital, she would have to sign a refusal of care. so I said to let the daughter go and brought her the paperwork, she then called her husband over and refused to sign it. I then had to get a statement from all the supervisors and lifeguards that were there that she said that she had refused treatment for her daughter. It ended up being about a 2 hour deal that would have been avoided if she just digned the paper.

Mine have to be either breaking my nose at WT in '02 (which several guest remembered and asked about this summer) or Chaos trying to eat me in '03, resulting in a torn ligament and a fractured medial condyle (that's the inside knob thingy on the top of the big bone in the bottom of your leg). Wonder if I can make it all the way through next summer with no major (as in requiring ER visits) injuries.

Nichole

The only bad thing that happened to me this summer was a during the storm that brought down the tree behind witches wheel also blew on down right on top of my shop.

I work at a rollerskating rink, and I know what everyones talking about when you say problems with customers that drive you crazy. I'm a floor-guard, and we stress that parents don't carry children while on skates. If they fall, they can fall atop of their kid. Its happened many times, and Ive had parents blow up in my face when telling them, and 5 mins laser they slip or lose their balance and fall on the kid, hurting them severely. This happened recently with a man holding his infant!! I know what your talking about, you have to put up with the ignorant in weird ways sometimes.
