working with friends

I was wondering if there is any way that I could request to room with someone I know, and maybe even get to work with them.

Yes you can request to live with someone you know provided there is room (and you are the same gender as they are) Also you can request working a particular area, and most likely they will try to accomodate that if they can.

If you process in to housing together, living together is no problem since you'll get the room right then. If one of you processes in earlier than the other, when you do check in you have to let the housing receptionist know that you have a friend coming that you'd like to room with, and they'll write their name on the card too. They won't hold the room indefinately, but if it is early in the season there should be no problem.
