Working Visa

G'Dayim from Australia and am thinking about working at the point during the 2004 summer but some of my mates over here say that its not that easy to get a working visa in the states. I was wondering if anyone could tell if this is true and also tell me if I have got a reasonable chance of gettin one and what are my chances of gettin a job at the point.
Ok...I'm not sure how to answer this one. I try to help all the newbie questions out as much as I can. Getting a job there isn't difficult as long as you show that your willing to work and that you are a smart, reliable person. As far as the visa, I would have to refer you to http://www.cedarpoint.com/public/jobs/international.cfm
I don't know how much help it would be, but it's more than most of us know, unless there are any international students who post here.

Does CP only employ people from overseas if they are uni students?

Thanks for your help

Hi!

I´ve tried twice to get work in CP but so far no success.

They require new employees to meet them in a job fairs CP attends to and there are not too many of them in Europe. But I dont know the situation in down´under....

Somehow I´ve gotten the impession that they prefer employers from east-Europe. So so much for the equal opportunity employer....;-)

I´ve contacted the person responsible of international hiring with only silent responses...:-(

I´ve worked 3 seasons in a local amusent park as ride op so I would consider myself easy for them...have good references, language skills.....

I´m a uni student.

go figure...and if U do pls contact me....:-)
