Working Sweets n' Treats/Housing Questions

I finish my freshman year at Bowling Green State University on May 8th and I'm scheduled to move up and start working my first summer for Cedar Point on May 10th. Right now all I can think is that 1. I'm working sweets n treats or whatever so I'm thinking I won't have as much fun as the ride staff.. 2. What is housing like? (I do plan to probably live on point).. 3. Am I going to have a life? (The hiring guy said he placed me at sweets because I told him I wanted as many hours as possible and that I would get a lot there)... 4.. Anything else I should know? I'm a social butterfly and get along with everyone and my room here at BG is definitely known as the social gathering place/party room and I feel like I'm losing my summer right now because I couldn't find any other work. I know I'll make money but I still feel like I don't know what I'm getting into.

ok as far as hours I cant say what you will get and there are always things to do and places to go. youll have fun no worries

You have to go in with an open mind and positive out look, if your already thinking o man this is gonna suck im losing my summer etc, your going to hate it and probably end up quitting or getting let go.

Its not what position you are that makes your summer or the job fun it is how you are at your job and what you do with your team.

You have to make the best of it and be open minded

CP is what you make of it, if you go in thinking you will hate it then you probably will but if you go in thinking you will like it and have fun then it you will be fun and enjoy it.

Also if you like partying and hanging out with people I would live off point in commons dorms because that is where most people live.

I hope that helped!

I don't necessarily think it's going to be bad. But it's something new and I'm not sure what it's going to be like, I think it's safe to say it's okay for me to be a bit nervous. But why live off point? Doesn't that cost more? Plus I'm not 100% sure I'll have a car.
