There's a new fitness facility opening up soon in the nearby Sandusky Plaza. Who knows, maybe they'll offer a summer package to CP employees. Also, I think the YMCA offers a summer package, but the Y is not in a convenient location unless you have a car.

Three, maybe four miles. It's through town, about 10-15 minutes depending on lights and traffic.

The had a deal in 2000 at the Y for employees--but heres the thing, its just not feasable for working out...if you work out like i do, you want to average 3-4 times a week, right? Well...in early season ,thats possible for off point, but come the summer, you'll be working LATE and you'll be TIRED, and the Y isnt open past 9 or so...I wish they would have put more stuff in the Rec Center, they have this awesome kinetic machine at my health club its like a treadmill, byt moves your legs like a bike...fantastic.

I maintain a regular fitness program, and that is one thing that the rec center couldn't help me with. The few times that I went in there, the free-weight bench was out of service and there was a pin missing from the flat bench they had in there making it almost impossible to use unless you stacked some weight on the floor to prevent it from collapsing on you.

I looked into some clubs, and came across The World Gym located off of Cleveland Rd. It's not that far away and when I joined I think I paid roughly $70 for a 3 month membership.

As CaptainNate pointed out, you get very tired from working all day. I found myself attempting to wake up at 5 am to get to the gym, but most of the time failed. I am still suffering the consequences from taking about 3 months off...

The World Gym went out of business (taking my membership money with them). The new gym I refer to above is opening it its place.
