Hey everyone! My name is Parker and last year I was a reservations clerk at Cedar Point. The job is a lot of fun. It is an office setting and you're in a cubical answering phone calls and giving out information about the park as well as the hotel properties. You also strive to make reservations but also to help get the guest exactly what he or she needs for a great summer getaway. You'll become close friends with the people you work with, but don't be afraid to venutre out and make friends of the other people working out in the park. The bosses that I had last year were fantastic. If you needed anything you could always talk to them and they always had an open door policy. The hours last season were pretty good, but i've heard that this year they will be better. Last year we had more people show up to work than expected so hours were sometimes on the lower end of 40hrs a week, but there is always the help hotline that you can call and see if there is anywhere that needs help around the park to make up extra hours. The staff we had last season was a lot of fun and from what i've been hearing a few of them will be back this season as well. Overall reservations is a great job, and i'm sure i'll be in the office from time to time to visit and catch up with a few people, that and my roomate for this season is back in reservations. Hope you enjoy your summer and i'm sure to see you soon!
Hey my name is Alex and I too worked in Reservations last year. I loved it soo much I am coming back this season. CP is a great place to work. Of course with any job it has its short falls, but overall you will love it. Made some great friend and such and am really looking forward to being back. I usually work up in the front of the park in the Reservation Booth. Though you we will probably see each other. If you have any questions or what not. Feel free to ask. Welcome to the CP family.
