I am not 100% sure. I think that its all foods. The only things that I remember from my interview was that:
-I need wear a dress shirt, pants and shoes. And that I will be walking around the restaurants.
My contract says that I am Special Supervior (F31) for the agreement code and the Department is 201.
Other than that I am @ a complete loss.
okay you are all foods not just one specific location.........the main responsibility is the over/short issues that arise. we want to make sure that we have no thieves and lose money in that aspect. i think there might be some more duties this year but i'm not sure yet. it's basically i learning as you go thing, but it's not hard and it's real quick to catch on.
99-02 area 3 food service supervision
05,06 auditor foods service
From my knowledge of the code 201, You will have plenty of hours. I probably averaged 60-70 over the summer. But had many over 80. It really depends on what exactly you are doing.
While some like the beautiful auditing department or education , have more of a set schedule (daytime). By the way,I miss you all! Others are not so lucky. This position sounds like something new to me so it's anybodys( meaning I won't) guess. Shaniapatches is a great person (If it's who I think it is!), she would know more than most.
If anything, give the manager who hired you a call. They will be more than happy to answer any question like that for you. Trust me, when they hear from you, the more they believe your coming. The hiring process at Cedar Point is a 3-5 month battle.

Basically, CornellMatt, you'll be working out of the Cash Control office. Like they said, you walk around to more than likely ALL of the foods locations (quick services, wagons, sit-downs, etc) and do drawer pulls to see if the cash matches the register sales. Being an Area sup, you run into them quite a bit, and while it interferes a good deal with the flow of business sometimes, it's a necessary part of maintaining the high standards that CP sets.

Working in the Foods Warehouse is interesting, I had a friend that did it last year. Basically there are two shifts, an open- about 3 and a about 3- an hour after the park closes. The morning shift makes sure that all the resturaunts get all their refrigerated items as well as getting anything the resturaunts may run out of during the day. The night shift puts together the orders that come in during the day and delivers all the non-refrigerated after the park closes. There are alot of slow times during the day, but when preparing the orders and actually delivering them it is really busy and you have to be on top of things.
