Working in April.

I am supposed to start April 13th. This is the earliest I have ever started in rides and wondering what do we do. What is the schedule usually like. I did work crew in foods for several seasons and we worked like 9-5 with a lunchbreak. Sometimes longer closer to opening day.
The schedule is basically the same. 9 - 5 with a lunch break. M-F There are some longer days especially closer to opening day. You may even be asked to come in early a day or two.

The jobs are cleaning the railroad, getting all the gunk and mud out of the water rides. Then you do alot of down right dirty work. Sometimes you may have to cycle a ride or two. Mainly if you have worked in rides before. There is a lot of scrubbing polishing waxing.

In my opinion the hardest job is cleaning the railroad and polishing the carousel brass. Basically if there is a ride, it'll need a good shining clean to get all the winter yucks off of it.

Most of the rides end up gettting cleaned up twice if not more for the final inspection..It's a lot of work but you can have fun doing it. Your in groups most of the time so you'll have company.
