Working Hours

Quick question about working hours. I was wondering what kind of hours per day do ya normally work, like what are the shift times?

It depends on what department you're in and a lot of other factors. I work in merch. If you have a question about that department let me know and I'll get back to you.

I was thinking that after I posted, I'm working in Midway Cart Sales, if anyone knows hours or if they change or what.

My friend worked Midway carts...Her schedule was normally 11(or 11:30)-C every day. It could have changed or be different for other people, so don't quote me. My friend worked 10-13 hours a day, depending on what time the park closed.

Lets just hope you don't have to O-C on the 4th of July (O-C = Open to
Close) for rides that means 9:25 - 12 woot woot! fun times guys fun times!
oh yeah by the way O-C's suck :-(

Wow...13 hours...thats alot. I have worked 9, but I am a minor so I got a break. I can't imagine 13 straight hours, but at Cedar Point, I think I could manage it!

Wow 10-13 hours! Do you still work 6 days a week when you work that much?

i'd love to work 60+ hours.. but thats just me...

My longest shift was 19 hours. This was sandwiched between a 16 and a 17 hour day. Boy was I tired and grumpy after that.

Yeah, you work 6 days a week. Unless your department is overstaffed...but that is kind of rare. You definetly get a LOT of hours...you really have to love your job, and the park.

I love hours.. I'm such a workaholic.

I love alot of Hours and $ i just hate working for it lol but I'll make it thru my Contract I guess tried 2 years to find a job where i live. took me 3 weeks to get one at CP go figure and I'm going from one Tourist trap to another. www.mypigeonforge.com

My longest week was 80+ hours and my best month was 1 day off but I also made alot more than you will plus I had free good food and drinks
