I have a simillar question like what jofat asked, that I hope someone can answer for me.

Question: I just applied online April 25, and I was wondering what the chances of getting any postion in the park was as of now?

I know that I applied very late and my past two years I've usually applied as soon as the app's came out. However, like jofat I just found out that I was able to work there this season.

I spoke with Marsha from park op's and she said that their are still positions available in ride operations. I know that all the major coasters are filled, but I'll take any open position in the park so long as it's not garbo or restorooms. My first job choice is ride op, my second is accommodations.

If anyone has ever applied this late before and could give me some insight that would be great.

Thaks so much

^^^ I was hired after my ride pride weekend in August, so April is not late at all. Working at a ride other than a major coaster could work out better for anybody. I thought Cads was going to be lame and boring when I was volunteering, but its a great ride to work. Also much has to do with your crew. A good crew can keep the time moving, and they keep you more alert and active.

How long does it usually take for someone to call you and set up the phone interview? I've called park op's and left voice messages for a few ride op managers saying that I would like to set up an interview but so far no one has called me back, and I really would like to return to the point this summer. Does anyone have any inpt for this?

Is there anyone else that has ever applied late, and if so how long did it take for them to get back to you for an interview?

(yes I know this question is probably getting annoying, but I really want to work at CP this summer. I left CP in good terms at the end of both seasons before so there should be no problem but I just want some other alumni input. Thanks :-)
