working at cedar point

Hi everyone. Im 16 and I really want to work at cedar point for a summer when I am a little older. I want to work on Millennium Force or Wicked Twister. What should I do to try for a job there? I live in Pittsburgh, PA. Any help is appreciated. Thanks so much!

If you really want rides, wait until you're 18 ((or 17 and graduated from high school). Then go to Cedarpoint.com and apply on the web. That's about all you can do. When you do your phone interview, ask if they can put you in rides, but don't demand it. That's never a good way to get started. That's about it.

Thanks for asking this question. I was about to when I noticed your post. My son is 17 and wants to work at the Point also. I don't think he really cares about what he does as long as he can be there. Do they offer places to stay or is that up to the individual to find housing.

You've gotta be 18 to get CP housing.

This is straight from the FAQ's in the jobs section of CP's website (I knew I saw it somewhere). This is of interest to me because I will be in the same situation (I'll be 17 when I graduate and my birthday is in June, but I want to work there earlier).

I am 17, but will be graduating from high school in May, can I live at Cedar Point?

Yes. After you have graduated from high school, you would be eligible to live in Cedar Point housing.
