Gee, I dunno about that. While we revere our CP flats, (and nobody cried louder than me when Schwabinchen was removed), I guess I'm ready to see CP do an overhaul in the flat department. Some of them have been in operation at CP since 1970, and I'm not sure they were new then. They've lost a lot of their flash over the last 37 years and are soooo tired, not only in their overall appearance but for thrill factor as well.
My fantasy ride line-up-
Replace Calypso with a Breakdance or better yet a Mondial Shake. Or a Huss Booster.
Replace Matterhorn with a Zierer Fireball/Hexentanz. (what happened to the Tumbler from Knott's, anyway?- probably went for parts at MOA)
Ocean Motion would be a good spot for a Top Spin. Standard size, two bench like the one at Geauga would be fine. Water feature or not, don't care.
Move the Monster and the Witches Wheel (if she's still around) One of those would fit where Super Himalaya is and the other could go to the Wicked Twister midway somewhere. (Troikatroikatroika maybe?) Fill that vacated stretch with an S&S Swat. (I've never been on one, but they look like a blast and I can picture one in that spot, right up against Gemini. Leave the trees, please.)
A Topple Tower would be a good fit where Wave Swinger is now. Re-theme and move it to Camp Snoopy.
Put a good, traditional dark ride back in the Pirate Ride building.
Keep the Scrambler, Giant Wheel, and of course the carousels and the car rides.
I don't mean to hijack the thread, and I suppose this has been discussed ad-nauseum elsewhere, so my apologies. Oh, one more thing...
Bye bye to Oceana and Peanuts Playgound. I picture a spinning coaster there. (reference Knott's again) Put the station and queue where the Playground was, with the lift and return staddling the midway and the bulk of the ride toward the lake where the Stadium was.
These would all be economical and marketable additions and improvements.

I sure was, but I got to spend the night back in my old home in Fright Zone. It was the best night of the year for me. :)I was in my old spot under the Candle Shop near the stocks.
Aw man, then I missed you. I didn't go through FZ last weekend.
I did, however, go through Fear Faire - finally. I'm usually only there on Sundays so I don't get a chance. I really liked it, and thought they did a good job with the wide open spaces that get you confused/lost, and then someone is right in your face when you turn around.
Are you working closing weekend?

Nope that would be Giant Wheel. Witches Wheel is the ride between Magnum and Gemini.

We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
Maybe they're relocating WW to somewhere else in the park for a new "kitten" to be installed. WW isn't to far from the Gemini kids area.

About witches wheel, and i'm dead serious on this one, I heard some people refer to Maxair as witches wheel once. They were in the midway standing right in front of Maxair's big red sign and pointed to the ride, and said "Let's ride the witches wheel."
Funny you should say that... When Kings Island first installed Delirium, I noticed that the circular base sort of resembles a pentagram from the bottom...
