Winter Visit

Is there a way to go on the beach during winter to take pics? Is there a way to park close to the park?

Not without the risk of being cited for trespassing.

No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun

Go to Sheldon marsh, it is the same beach. It is located next to Sawmill Creek Resort near Huron. You won't get any close ups of CP, but it is a very pretty winter hiking spot that is pretty popular, even on cold days.

The beach, not so much. However, you can get great views of the park from the battery park marina, as well as the sandusky municipal building. You can also eat at the bay harbor....
