That's the only D&B I know of out here, so I'd say yes. For those that have no idea where that is... if you know where Gameworks is at Great Lakes Crossing, you go south on I-75 to M-59 Eastbound until you just pass M-53... Dave and Busters is on the left.

D&B's is about 20 minutes away from Gameworks... IF traffic flows smoothly (which knocks out from 4 - 6:30 each weeknight).

But Jeff.. you know alot of these people won't come if there is no DDR machine.. And D&B's has a bad habit of not having one and having the knock-off version.

Last time I was at GW they had two DDR machines.. That and I know the bartenders... ;)

I don't mind either spot... I'd prefer Gameworks just because it's 2 miles away, but Dave and Busters is only 20 minutes... not bad. Whichever is fine. As my dad would say, "Have wheels, will travel."

And Jan. 29th would work for me at this point. When the date is official, I'll put in the time off request.

Ok ok y'all....I tried posting all this crap about 2 weeks ago but my laptop kicked me off of the wireless network (yeah it blows) and then not too long after that the thing had a horrible fit a stupid and hasn't recovered yet. I was thinking (and this is is everyone approves and can make it) January 11th, 2003 from 8pm until close. That's a Saturday evening. It will be at GameWorks because of the fact that I am coming from Oakland University and GameWorks is a lot closer to the school than Dave and Buster's. But as compensation, provided that this party goes well I'll try and plan one at Dave and Buster's the next time around :) This is all tentative right now because of school and I'm still out of a job (anyone know of any job openings here in the Northern Oakland County area??) Kelly and Rusty, you can stay with me if you like. I only have one bed but I can clear out the top shelf of my closet for you Kelly like I had planned to last year :) ok so I think I covered it all...Any questions or (better yet) suggestions feel free to email me. :)

Oh yes and one more thing....You guys mentioned the DDR machines....they moved them and I think they moved the to the second floor...I was there not to long ago for a record release party (side note: at this point i have to brag about the Ford Navigator stretch limo that i got to ride in there and back....when you got it, you got it...ok...i'm done) and they had moved them. They also have a cool virtual reality army shooting bloody game....that was pretty sweet.

Where to meet... hmm. Well, I don't know how many people plan on coming. Could meet outside by the Rainforest Cafe, or could meet inside GameWorks somewhere. Everyone seems to like DDR... could meet near them. [I really like Sky Pirates VR (a.k.a. the Balloon Game). Even with practice on the home DDR set, I stink when the arrows get faster.]

Actually they only moved the crappy DDR USA upstairs... they have a DDRMAX2 downstairs in the back right corner of the main room.
