winter get-together

I would like to get a night out sometime this winter. Possibly sometime shortly after New Years so we can enjoy it before the pressures of school and work build up again. I already have gotten a one response. If anyone is interested let me know. i live about five minutes from Great Lakes Crossing and i know how much some of you enjoy Gameworks. anywho..let me know

Watch this site and coasterbuzz.com for information on an Off Season No Coaster Conference around Late January or Late February.

I KNOW it will be worth the time and effort to attend...

Yeah, somebody had organized a non-CP/non-coaster get together last year at Great Lakes'. I couldn't make it last year :( But I can drive this year, with enough notice I can make it :)

Don't worry Tommy...I'll give everyone lots of notice. And it's for CP'ers and non-CP'ers alike. If people could throw out some dates that would helpful. I have to work it around school and work like I'm sure a lot of people do so I'll make sure everyone has plenty of notice.

Is it okay if a 15 year old goes?

If I remember Gameworks' rules, you're ok until after 10pm, then you have to be 21 or over.

I'm sorry guys, but I'd rather keep this at the 18+ crowd simply because I don't want anyone to possibly get into trouble with parents and what not. But that's onlt if this is an evening affair. If it's in the middle of the day it's cool by me. Like I said I'll look at some dates and my schedule and stuff and let everyone know

I know this is my second post on this site but I would like to meet some of you guys. If that is ok.
Yeah there was a non-official meeting of several GTTP people at Great Lakes Crossing last year at Gameworks. Much fun was had by all.

The rule at Gameworks IS after 10.. 21 and older only... If I remember Dave & Busters also has some limitations at certain times.

Anybody want to start organizing, or wait until later in the fall/winter?

There will be an off-season CoasterBuzz Club Meeting probably in February 03...If you want to wait till that event.

Members and non-members will be invited....

Watch for more details at a later date.

I work at the Best Buy across from Great Lakes Crossing, and I have one bit of advice on having something at Gameworks during the next few months. I think it can be summed up in just one word...

CHRISTMAS.

The traffic is going to be awful. People will fight over parking spots, fight over that last sweater that's on sale, the mall will be packed. I've done Christmas at Best Buy for the past 2 years, and while right now things are still sort of normal (except on the weekends now), it's going to get worse.

The get-together can be done at Gameworks, and it can be done during the holidays... just understand it may take a little more patience than what normally is required, even during rush hour periods with accidents clogging up I-75 and nearby side streets.

[Edit] - Trust me though, if you still had it there during holiday time, and I'm not working that day, I'd be there.

I'd consider coming if you guys would consider the New Dave and Busters in Utica instead of GLC
