Wicked Twister is one of the last rides to go down for any weather-related instances. Wind will not cause WT to shut down hardly, if at all. Never happened once this summer that I can recall.

I was in line for TTD when it went down for wind. It was a nice day, but windy. We were in the station for a long time, and many people left the line. But good cause comes for those who wait, so the ride hosts gave everyone two front of the line passes to use for any ride but not TTD. I used them for Millennium later on in the season, at night!! We rode front seat too!

Are the front of the line passes pink?

^^ - so you got front of the line passes because Mother Nature didn't co-operate and you spent "a long time" standing in the station of a ride that wasn't going to open?

That makes sense.

We waited for the ride to open and later on the ride hosts, who thought the ride will open, announced and apologized that it wouldn't be open soon. Then they gave us the passes and we left. It was fun though, in my opinion.

Sky Ride isnt even open on Fridays. I would be worried about Top Thrill Dragster and Raptor

In other news it seems every hotel room is booked in any CP resort Saturday night. Hopefully my Sunday there is not busy.

^ I doubt it. Most people arent into being in the park all day then trying to drive home after. Im betting most people got the rooms for after the park on Sat, then will get up and leave at checkout time on Sunday.

Looking at the cleveland cam,just saw Mantis running,and TTD is not,probibly cause of high winds. Cause mantis does not run on friday nights of halloweekends.

They opened Mantis because Raptor was down due to winds. Dragster did some test runs. All 3 trains that had employees during testing rolled back. It didn't open due to high winds.
