I sure hope they reach 20 coasters before I die. They don't have to be huge coasters, but hopefully it will happen eventually. As far as the parking garage, yes they are very expensive, and also an eyesore.

Cedar Point - America's Roller Coast!

"Ugly" won't be the reason Cedar Point doesn't build a parking garage. Apparently you all have never seen Disaster Transport...the Gold dorms...Cedars Dorms...the HR/Marketing office...P&Z...would you like me to go on?
"You can dream, create, design and build the most wonderful place in the world...but it requires people to make the dreams a reality."

No. We just ran the speed of lightning out the exit and dashed madly back in line. It was Halloweekends when Pharoah's secret was in the main entrance. The park was very empty and it was like a few seasons ago, can't remember which one.....but it was fun, and my sister really:) got a kick out if it because she used to work DT and love doing trough walks...I could go on and on.
Perhaps it's time to dust off the vintage 1998 Guide to The Point trademark...
Cedar Point does not have a space problem.(TM)

I would imagine they will reach 20 coasters within the next couple of decades, give or take a few years. Of course I'm sure they will also remove one or two in the process. I don't really mind any of their coasters, aside from Mean Streak. I've only ridden it once but that was enough. The brake in the middle of the first drop is very awkward--and I didn't really enjoy anything about the rest of the ride. It does take up a lot of room, as well.
Dorney Park did the same to Hercules to make room for that awful floorless contraption. I was actually disappointed to see Hercules go. It wasn't a smooth ride at all, but it was fun nonetheless and a classic to boot.
If CP does add any new coasters, you know they'll have to break some kind of record. Height, speed, degree of descent, number of inversions, something of the aforementioned. I wouldn't think a 500 ft. coaster is feasible, and anything faster than 130 mph seems like an outrageous concept at this point. Maybe a B&M or Intamin with 11 inversions?

Didn't it have the steepest angle of descent until Fahrenheit opened this year? Regardless, ever since adding Magnum in '89 it seems as though CP has been after new records and remaining on the cutting edge of thrills.
