I'm a little surprised they're changing uniforms this year with the current concerns over the economy and tourism. I know they only have a certain life before they look so ragged that they have to be replaced, but I don't think they looked bad enough last time I was at the park to warrant replacement.

Before we jump to conclusions... Where is the source that says the uniforms will change?
08: Wildcat & Millennium; 09: ATL maXair; 10: TL Blue Streak; 11: TL Kiddy Kingdom; 12: TL Corkscrew; 13: Gatekeeper and Beach Band
2014: Marketing and Beach Band
Hallowekends 2014: Band of Buccaneers and Barking for CarnEVIL
Yeah I here the uniform thing year after year, just like how they are supposed to put a Cafeteria in Stockade, I will beleave all of this when I see it.

09 Monster/ Witches Wheel - TL
08 Mean Streak
07 Monster/ Witches Wheel
Witches Wheel has a 54 inch height requirement, I don't care if your child rode Dragster, Magnum or, Millenium, they are not tall enough for this one!

ROI dictates that there probably will never be a 2nd cafeteria in the park. Uniforms don't have much of an ROI either, but you can only drag the life of them out so long before they need to be replaced. Games, Challenge Park, Parking, Park Services, Live E, Foods, Lifeguards and Supervisors all have new uniforms in the past 5ish years, I think that would put park ops next in line, followed by merchandise.

Like I stated before, it took them almost 30 years to change the ride uniforms, don't get your hopes up too high.
Changed and replaced are two different things. They might buy the exact same shirts and shorts, but they will look a lot nicer because they aren't faded and worn.

They've changed in environmental services, because when I worked in sweeps, we had a knit yellow shirt, with khaki shorts. The shorts are still the same, but I saw that the shirt was a brighter yellow with button down straps on the shoulders. I think they got these in '06 or '07. Merchandise has been the same since I started there in 2006, redish checkard shirts with khaki shorts. Now Snoopy Boutique is a different story, they wear a Camp Snoopy red shirt with a boyscout type scarf, and khaki shorts. It wasn't bad, but the scarf could be annoying.

Except employees spend about 40% of their paychecks in the damn cafeteria.
2007,2008 Ripcord
wow forty Percent...I spend at a max 30 dollars a week in the cafe...and I'm at work all day so sometimes I have two trips (mmm breakfasts...the best and sometimes only good things about the cafe)...maybe 40 if really long week...but thats 80 dollars for the two weeks...thats ten percent of my usual 800 (after taxes) paycheck...so...
lol sorry but really if you're spending 40 percent of your paycheck at the cafe, you are either getting lots of food or you aren't working that many hours...I might not like the cafe sometimes but they aren't THAT expensive

That is true. And I would have spent a lot more in the park if a certain someone didn't take away the employee discounts at a couple of locations in/near Challenge Park. Instead I spent that money on the exact same items at Walmart and paid less for them.
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
