Will I get hired?

Hello, Im 17 and will turn 18 in june and put in an app on April 5, 2013! I looked at the job website and my app has not been reviewed yet! is that a problem because im 17! also should I just be patient and wait or should I call them to see whats up!!

Give it some time, the managers are in the process of hiring thousands of people.

And no, it's not because you're 17.

I applied in January and my app was reviewed in March. I emailed the hiring manager who reviewed my application and got the ball rolling. I was just hired last week. Once they review it give it some time, if not you will be able to click on their name to email them.

I was hired when I was 17 for ride operations, I just had to come work after I graduated (and turned 18 obvs)

Should I attend open interviews Saturday or just wait?!

I would definitly go to the open interview on saturday because if you do get hired you would have to do a skype interview and a phone interview also.

Thank for all the replies, But I feel that It is too late for me to get the job, my application says that its under review but it dose'nt say if anyone is looking at or the name of who's looking at it also I haven't recieved and call or emails so I guess ill try again next year!!! #bummed o___O

It's never too late. The under review means the department has your application. Usually it just means they have not gotten to your app yet. If the job you first applied for is full they would just give it down to the next department. There is always a department that needs more people.

They continue to hire all through the summer. So even if you don't get hired before May, you may still hear from them at some point.

Thanks guys/gals! I will still remain optomistic but just getting anzious and a little annoyed that I am not hired at this point!

Call HR the minute you see this... You might have clicked on something so call and ask whats going on with your application!!!

Call don't sit around and wait lol. Show them you want the job by asking for an update

Thanks. Lol. I have called once before and a lady answered and told me to check the website to check the status of my app and when I check it, it still dosent say that anyone specifically has reviewed it! this is exactly what it says:

Your application is currently on review by our hiring managers for the job choices that you indicated.

Your application is available for review by:

Food Services

Franchise Foods

Call the department and tell them to look for your application!!!

They just referred me to my second job choice! So I guess they gave my app to park operations!!
