Wicked is a wonderful roller-coaster... I love that it has short lines and that it is an awesome adrenaline rush.
What kind of impact do you think that MAXAir would have on Wicked Twister's popularity?
Both Wicked Twister and MAXAir have a back and forth motion, and both Wicked and MAX give you that weightless feeling.
Will MAXAir cause Wicked ridership?
WT ain't losing me!!!
I love Wicked Twister as well. maXair will of course bring more people to the Wicked Twister Midway. It's a perfect addition to that part of the park.
The awesome colors will attract alot of attention as well.
But thats alright....more people that are on maXair, the less on the rides;)

Just for your information, it's maXair. Not MAXair, not trying to be snippy. Just trying to keep you from getting blasted somewhere else.
I can't wait to ride maxAIR;). But I think the addition of the ride could do one of two things: bring attention to that area of the park and boost WT lines, or suck in attendence and shorten WT lines.

Smoking Marijuana isn't a bad thing or even a good one, like everything else, its what you make of it.
I think MAxAIR will definitely "suck-in" the attendance....hopefully shortening some of the other ride waits.

Actualy,
It may effect disater transports line more than anything.
what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
Oceana midway...home of 3 rides that go back and forth and give you that "weightless feeling.

Speaking of Oceana Midway, when are they going to remove that dive pool? Is it that big of a draw? Since I usually visit the Point in May & September, I don't see the show. Never have, actually.

People like this crack me up.
Mr Scott, when TheRealCP and I went to the dive show last summer, I was surprised to see they drew quite a crowd for the show.
I suspect it's popular enough to not be removed.
Besides, even we old ladies enjoy looking at all that young, male flesh. ;)

Top Thrill Dragster....Always number one
I was thinking about that too Mr Scott, I have never seen the show either. I was looking at it from this huge aerial picture http://www.bholcomb.com/cedarpointaerial.jpg and it doesn't seem to take up a whole lot of room. Any ideas of what else could go there?
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
A "RipTide" ride would fit there quite well. You could also stick something else in there with a "RipTide" such as a restaurant or a "Twisted Gifts" gift shop.

Whats a "RipTide"?
Vince,
Rip Tide is a new ride at ValleyFair ( a Cedar Fair park in Minnesota), that flips rides upside down. On the VF web site they state a 720 degree revolution. If you have gone to Geauga Lake within the past few years, they have a similar ride called Texas Twister.

I think the dive show draws in big crowds. I've seen it a few times(family) and it was usually a full house. Once you start moving out stuff like that, CP will become a different kind of park.

Rip Tide is a HUSS Top Spin. It's like Tomb Raider at Kings Island, but Tomb Raider is a Giant Top Spin.
