Hmm now that I look at the calendar that's my 21st birthday weekend so I may be hungover Sunday.

Raptor and Millie are great erts, but I really enjoyed the Magnum one last year, oh well I still can't wait to go. Hopefully Tony gives us more details soon, like if there is going to be another scavenger hunt.

We're actually revising the events of that weekend and should have details soon. We are now open on Friday night AND Saturday, Sept. 11 & 12, so we may spread the fun out a little.

Hang tight.

Is that maybe when they are going to announce the new wooden roller coaster?

Pepsi Refresh is saving one coaster at a time: http://pep.si/bTTsfc

Sorry to hear someone cancelled on y'all! I may still have to make it out that weekend, we will see.

Please don't hijack threads. This one is not about the new attraction. Besides, we have good indication the announcement will be around Labor day weekend.

A little off topic, I plan on going tomorrow (Aug. 25th) and the park hours are 11-9pm. Does anybody know if our platinum passes get us in at 10am?

When you visit CP, visit my Mill, est. 1835

thanks!

Tony, I hope you don't take away too much of the fun from Sunday. It was the only day my girlfriend and I could get off of work.

I was just checking the Cedar Point schedule and found the revised times for Sept. 11 (6pm to 11pm) and Sept. 12 (Noon to 10pm).

How much does it cost to Rent out the park for a day?

Shoot the rapids, tame and dry. Thunder Canyon, wet and laughter. Snake River Falls, soaked and smiling. White Water Landing and the old shoot the rapids, Fun and missed.

Well say you take at least 10,000 guests paying (not including pass holders) at 44.99. that is 4,499,000 in revenue just from tickets. Not counting how much for merchandise and edibles. I have no clue what it costs but that is a good estimate to go by.

Yeah, that's not accurate. That $45 ticket is not pure profit.

I know its not pure profit, but its just a rough estimate to go by. I am in no means giving an approx amount because i dont know what that would be.

I'm sure if you brought that many people to the park the tickets would be discounted to a group rate.

And I don't think that 44.99 is even a rough estimate to go by. You gotta think, most people come in with coupons, AAA, Pepsi cans, etc. I think a rough estimate would be around 35.00- 37.99/ ticket. maybe even less.

so with the park being open next friday and saturday does that mean the haunts will be open a week early also?

^ nope. halloweekends begins Sept. 18th as planned. :)
