Just curious as to why they removed it? It was a place I usually stopped at when I went to the park. Maybe because Sunday's they couldn't be open?
I have not tried the Frontier Inn. Is it any good?
As far as the quality of the food at Frontier Inn, I'd say its above average for Cedar Point / amusement park food.
No official reason was ever given for why Chick-Fil-A left.

Chick-Fil-A is still at Kings Island. It's popular, but not as popular as blue ice cream.

Frontier inn was above average. Last time I had it (few weeks ago) they accidentally put some fries in my salt.
First ride; Magnum 1994
Next time try the tater tots instead of fries.
I like Frontier Inn, if you are going to eat fried chicken they definitely beat any of the stands inside the park. As an added bonus the seating area around Frontier Inn is located in one of my favorite areas of the park.
They need to get more organized in that place when it's busy. Used my meal plan a couple weeks ago, be prepared to wait 30 minutes for a tender basket.
Of hand I'd say the terms of the franchise agreement, plus the closed on Sunday requirement was cause for the termination of the agreement. The amount the franchisee has to turn over to corporate is pretty much unheard of elsewhere in the fast food industry. I imagine that CP was counting on a much higher sales figures than what was ultimately realized.

I didnt notice the tots on the menu this year. Might have missed them.

No tater tots??? Say it ain't so...
We haven't been to Frontier Inn yet this season so I just assumed the delicious deep fried golden brown crispy chunks of artery clogging goodness were still there.

Frankly the bad PR caused by the company's non-profit giving money to anti-LGBT rights groups was not a great incentive to stay either.

That's why I started eating there, honestly
Edit to be clear: I don't hate any of those groups, but I just think they've gotten out of hand. They are the only people I can't think of that are more entitled than enthusiasts, every time they're denied stuff they pull the talransgender/gay card, and I have other rather private personal encounters that jaded my view of transgenders as a whole.
CP Top 5: 1) Steel Vengeance 2) Maverick 3) Magnum 4) Raptor 5) Millennium
Just like those entitled women who wanted to vote. And I swear if I hear one more black human complain about how "bad it was" to be owned by someone else...
Amen, brother. We need more discrimination, not less, right?
Make America Great Again!
I would personally like to think Cedar Point kindly asked them not to return based on their history of bigotry. It's probably more boring than that, but they would certainly never see a dime for me.

So you don't hate any of "those" groups, but you think "they've" gotten out of hand. When you refer to humans as "those", I have trouble squaring that with your protestations of non-discrimination.They are the only people I can't think of that are more entitled than enthusiasts,
I thought you were talking about coaster enthusiasts, but...

...every time they're denied stuff they pull the talransgender/gay card,
....why do you find "talransgender" and gays folks, not to mention lesbians, bisexuals, and other folks, so horrible for wanting to have a chicken sandwich?
...and I have other rather private personal encounters that jaded my view of transgenders as a whole.
..."rather" private? What does that mean? Either those encounters are private, or they're not. Should I use your gender / race / sexual orientation / religious beliefs as a blanket reason to discriminate against everyone who may share some of your views?
I'm a Marxist, of the Groucho sort.
Am I the only one who thinks that the chicken at Chik-Fil-A is too dry?
This Isn't A Hospital--It's An Insane Asylum!
I thought Chik-Fil-A sandwiches were delicious. They will also never, ever get another dime from me.
So many laughable possibilities are swirling around my head regarding the private, personal encounter that might've led Go Intamin to judge all transgendered people everywhere the way he does. But rather than spend any more time on that, I'd like to invite him to walk a mile in my shoes. And I hope in doing so he doesn't have to face daily hatred, discrimination, judgement, or misunderstanding for just being the way he is, because it sucks in the worst possible way. But there's no guarantee.
By the way, I don't have a card that I pull out. I just expect the same basic human rights as everyone deserves, and if I need to vote with my wallet and my patronage I will do so.
