why arent they call ing back????

Ok this may be nothing but im freaking out. I put in my app on friday,by monday it had been review TWICE and herw it is Wednesday and nothing. I called and left a voicemail but no one has called back,wth is this a bad sign? Im a rehiree and i heard we are having a harder time getting back in,should i be freaking out or no?

Perhaps someone looked at your application and noticed you didn't capitalize your I's, or put spaces after your commas, or not use an apostrophe.

No Scott is not the loser. Read the guidelines for posting. Good grammar, spelling and punctuation are important.

Ok, don't panic. There's still plenty of time before I would start worrying if I were you. Weather may be playing a factor this year in staffing / reviewing and just the shear volume of applicants that have to be gone through right now.

Clearly if two people answered the question the spelling wasnt that important,i dint understand why idiots like you comment and have nothing to contribute gees...get a life or leave,ppl like u ruin everything

Maybe they looked and decided not to hire you. They don't call people to say no to them.

Based on your exhibited language and human interaction skills, I can't believe they aren't calling. You should call them up immediately to find out where the hiring system went wrong, because clearly there's a disconnect.

Who was your manager? I'm in foods as well. I did an application Tuesday night and got hired yesterday... but my first year it took a few weeks to get hired
