Why a SECRET ?????

Why would a large company like CP not disclose the facts and figures of the 16th coaster?

But have all 3 of their web cams on it since the construction started.

What are they really hiding?

What are they hiding? Everything that everyone speculates about on this board! Its the perfect marketing ploy.....we are dying to ride the thing, know anything about it...even before its announced!

Why did PKI keep mum so long about TR:TR? It's not like CP is NOT going to give the facts and figures. They just have their own timetable for doing it.

CP also had webcams on WT for a couple months before it was announced as well.

HAHAHA, excellent 'Playa. Doesn't anyone remember a whole 4 years ago when Millie was announced? I was at the park that day by coincidence. What ended up happening only three months after Millie made it's debut? Oh yeah, Steel Dragon happened. This has been said a million times, but if people are still going to make these redundant posts, then I'm still going to say something just out of pity of the poster's ignorance.

CP doesn't want another record to only be held for a few months and they aren't taking any chances. I personally agree with this and I think others should too. WE'RE LUCKY TO EVEN HAVE THIS RIDE! THEY SPOIL US!

Why would you say they spoil us cause they are building a new ride? They wouldn't be able to build "16" if it wasn't for us paying for admission. -To the person that replies they dont have to build a new ride!, Sure they dont have to build a new ride, but if they stop making new attractions nobody would go after a while, so yes to stay sucessful they have to build us new rides. They dont spoil us, we spoil them!

Also stated a million times: Steel Dragon 2000 was on the drawing boards just as long as Millennium Force was. You don't just head out back and whip up a coaster in 3 months.

The hold-off on the announcement is for the free publicity, not to prevent another park from "stealing our records."

They spoil us and you know it. They build the new ride to give us another way to have fun, not just to get more money. If they were so worried about money they'd just save it all for themselves instead of building us a new ride. We're lucky to even have a place dedicated to making us happy...

Why do you think they want us to be happy? They want us to come back again so they can make more money. They don't "spoil" us. They want to be the best park and make money.

Cedar Point does spoil us. They just don't build a new ride, they build a record breaking ride. Cedar Point is known for that. Of course they do it for the money, but they really know how to get us to come.

I really wish they would have made a construction diary like they did for wicked twister so that there was something for us to look at rather than these endless message boards of opinions and assumptions. Not that i don't like this website i love it and i like reading the posts but the official construction diary was more gratifying.

I saw a pic of some rocket shaped thingy's in the parking lot, but they seemed to small for train cars. Can't remember where tho sorry. Just the tails where sticking out from under a tarp, about half the size of a parking space.

I think they are going to wrap this thing in plastic and shoot a "safe sex" commercial that will debut during the Super Bowl. I can just hear the slogan: "This ride may be better than sex, but nothing is better than safe sex!" They don't want to announce before the commercial airs. Since the Super Bowl is on Jan. 26, this fits in with the January announcement projections.
