Who will ride with hands up?

Simple question to expand on the "Nothing to hold on to" thread- who's got the guts to reach for the sky on their first ride on this thing?

Mine will be up the entire time.

Who else?

I will too, as long as they don't get ripped off me during the launch. :)
I'll probably hold them out in front of me on the launch but keep them up for the rest of the ride.
lol, sorry guys i'm die hard, but my hands will be firmly gripped to that little bar i have!
There is no way my hands will be down! Up the whooole time :D

Speaking of hands up...On a lot of the media day videos did you notice someone would put there hands up on the top hat but as soon as they went back down their hands were firmly gripped to that bar ;).

*raises hand*

did it on Hypersonic, will do it here :)

My hands have been up on every coaster (except for when i'm holding on for dear life on a painful coaster) since my first one and they will definitely be up for this one.
Sometimes I put them up, sometimes I leave them down, depends on my mood. With this I plan on leaving them down the first time, but who knows I might get really excited and put them up anyway. It usually has to do with how comfortable I am with a ride. Sometimes I'm instantly comfortable, sometimes it takes a few laps. (I used the word "sometimes" way to much in this post)

My hands were up every time, and I will continue to do so. Now, after a while, I may go for the rag-doll approach instead (don't hold on, just let your arms hang relaxed), but I doubt I'll rack up enough laps in the first season to get to that point.

Me and my friend have already swore to each other that we would keep them up the whole time. So add two to the yes collumn for us. :)

I'd like to think that i would, but i've never even been on MF, and by the sounds of it, this ride is pretty intense. So mark me under the "hang on for the first ride, then we'll go from there" category.

Hands up! Although I would appreciate some pointers on how to do this comfortably during a launch. I always have my hands up, except for a few instances. On X after the first drop I held on, I was very confused and it seemed like the right thing to do. On Goliath(which has no seatbelt) I only pulled my bar down halfway because I was having cargo pocket problems(camera, keys, onride photos, etc.). I figured that the ride op would come by and push it down by the time I got my pockets buttoned. Well, they didn't and the train dispatched. During the long climb up the lift hill, I kept thinking how geeked I would be if this was on Millie or some other coaster at my home park, but I didn't know this coaster from Jack.... I was intimidated and halfway held my hands up, thinking I very well might have to hold myself in for some of the ride. The combination of my fear and a great ride made for an unforgettable experience.

I will most likely be not holding on. But I will also not doing the usual arms fully up either. Therefore I will be somewhere in middle. Most likely I will have my arms just rested on the lapbar. Guess I am not in either catergory.
