Both parks have full rights to the claim, CP never claims to be the only park with 16, just that no other park has more.

It is a fine line, but it is a true statement and as the chances of both new rides opening the same day are slim to none one of the two parks for a short time will in fact have more coasters than anyone.

Has anybody noticed the location of Scream. It's in their parking lot. Now Cedar Point isn't lacking space, but Magic Mountain looks as if they are. Magic Mountain doesn't even have enough room for the 17th coaster. Cedar Point is probably already planning their next coaster.

Yes, Magic Mountain has plenty of room. You obviously haven't been. They own a ton, and I mean a ton, of land. The park itself is at least twice the size of Cedar Point if not more.
