The more I think about it the more I regret never visiting the park. Damn. It's sad to see those pictures. I also saw some pictures over of Geauga Lake Today and there is one of fire damage at Dominators station. Any story behind that fire?

It's going to be weird seeing pictures when both Dominator and ThunderHawk are not there anymore at all. I know it's going to take them a while to remove every ride at Geauga Lake. I also cannot imagine driving by Geauga Lake right now. People that are fans of the park probably get emotional every time they go by the park.

I guess Dominator trains have been spotted at kings Dominion according to Screamscape.

i guess cedar point is clearing the way for the 500 foot dueling b&m according to screamscape. but i actually do believe that dominator trains or at least parts may be showing up at KI

If you actualy read the site you just mentioned, you'd know that he's predicting a kiddy kingdom revamp at CP, and that Dominator trains have already been spotted at KD. Not KI.

Great pictures... but that indeed is horribly sad. You can just see so much happiness and great memories being ripped out. :(

I really wish I had gotten to GL at some point in time..

Who cares what screamscape predicted?

I did read that old prediction on there about dueling flying coasters long ago. I think that was just someone's wet dream.

Screamscape does always seem to be right though (lately)...

No, they just take so many shots at the barrel that they are bound to hit a fish eventually just by the law of averages.

Well I guess that about confirms where Dominator is going....the announcement should come sometime in november as the park is still undecided on just what name they want to use.

I love how "sources" have seen trains at KD. Yet, where are the pictures?

Anyone read the TT blog? Anyone catch this in the first sentence.

Busy like Beavers....Geauga Lake's family Beaver Damn Roller coaster.

I betcha Peanuts playground in going to get a makeover and the Beaver Damn Roller coaster will be its star attraction. It's a fun little ride! Plus that will makes the roller coaster count to 18!

^Sounds like CP may end up getting BLMR for 2008 to me.Funny thing is I thought the ride was a mouse coaster from what I'd heard but after seeing some pics it looks similar to BBLTT & Catwoman's Whip @ SFGRADV & SFNE.

That would explain the "letting the kittens out of the bag" reference on the CP blog as well.

It was situated kind of behind the Dodgems. It was originally called Roadrunner Express when installed by Time Warner Cable. (Oh, wait, that's not it)

From what I read on GLT's forums this morning one person spotted some of Dominator's track on a flatbed apparently headed for Va. so we should see track appearing in KD's lot probably by early next week.

Yay! Kings Dominion finally gets a good steel coaster. (besides Volcano)

After all the short launchers they've added over the years anything with a lift will be greatly appreciated there.
