Dougster/Dragster?
That wasn't even a thought when I created that name. I'm beside myself, laughing at the thought of all you guys thinking about how corny it seemed. Let me explain that this was one of a few nicknames I had as a kid, and not something from off the top of my head.

What is most anticipated event of 2003? the debut of Dragster, the release of Metallica's new album, the release of Terminator 3, or the release of Matrix:Reloaded...tough call.

Really, it's not that big of a deal. I don't think he'll mind if "you" don't show up. There'll be enough people there, honoring their end of the deal, to make him happy. Missing out on one more cone probably won't hurt his feelings too much. Too bad, you'll be missing out on a chance to meet the people who aggravate you so much in this forum.
3:00pm, May 4th, at the Ice Cream Parlor! I hope coasterbob is reading this thread. I'll only wait about 15 minutes. Too much riding to do.

But, coasterbob will be getting his for free, when I get there.
So will he be paying for it?

"Everybody buys, for the first person who gets it right, an ice cream cone at the Ice Cream Parlor on opening day."
No, this quote is not ver betum. But, it's the premiss of the deal. I didn't hear anybody questioning it while everybody was submitting their "guesses". Now, all of a sudden, nobody seems to know what the deal was.
Really, it doesn't matter to me if anybody else is there. Your honor is yours. It's not my conscience that's on the line if "you"(you know who you are) don't want to uphold your end of a bet you placed. As I said before, I don't think I could eat that much ice cream, anyway. I doubt Bob can either.
Oh, by the way, I sincerely appologize to anyone I've aggravated in this forum. Frankly, I don't have time to be aggravated by anything that happens in an internet forum. Although, I do look forward to meeting the folks with enough dignity to uphold their bet.
3:00pm, May 4th, at The Ice Cream Parlor. Be there, only if you can afford it.
