Who all is coming back...

I was one of many who said they weren't coming back EVER but looking back at it all, this summer was the best one I ever had: Thanks to the great people on my crew!

Original PTCer here - says no way. First Happy, then "used to it", then Aggravated, then Belligerant, finally Bad Attitude days Burnings I've had enough - PTC03 - I helped create you way back when the tower stood tall and new, go ahead and burn me. I'm not returning. I graduated school and am about to close in on a new job and attempt and MBA. My oath of never returning to the peninsula will continue.

There was a time when two seasons didn't seem like it'd be enough, but I'm at the point where it's more than enough. It's all about school this summer. Hooray for Thermodynamics!

Hey guys, looks like that as of right now, I may be heading back for my 6th season but where is the question...it can be one of these three fabulous choices...

1> Zone 4 Sweeps (what I did for 1/2 of 2002)
2> Food Services in Breakers (Room Service Attendant--like the normal thing I guess I do at my current job)\
3> Human Resources Training Department

Truthfully, it is really weird how much you remember about the park and the memories that you receive from working there a long time. Coming in 1998, which the big ride was Power Tower, I guess I grew up with the park as it became more of a showcase of steel and speed.

But, if everything goes well, I will be there for Opening Weekend and for a decent amount of time to come thereafter...probably until 8/31/03.

Also this just seems like tradition right now in my life...work at some places around home and then make the pilgrimage up to Cedar Point for yet another year.

(On a sidebar, how has worked there the longest >. The only person that I can think of is the person who runs the China Shop in Frontiertown. She told me that she worked there for well over 30+ seasons.

Who knows, maybe I am headed in that direction.)

HAPPY 2003 EVERYBODY...hope to see your faces on the midway, season pass holder or employee. :)

I know Rich had completed his 11th year as a seasonal in 2001. He didn't come back in '02 and the Garter hasn't been the same.

Hey Jay do you know anyone else who will be a ptc vet this year? I mean how many people to we have to train on how to drink at big bash or how to become their own landscape artist?

i have decided to come back for a 4th summer but it will not be back to admissions for if i do i WILL be fired this summer, you can take so much of a guest's smart mouth without wanting to punch them until they shut up.....i want to waitress, i do it at home and make good money so why not do it at cp and make even more money???.......

Genevieve, I will miss you in Admissions!! You always cracked me up on Marina Gate -- remember the big thunderstorm? But since you'll be at the Point I'll still see you so that's cool. Good luck in your new department!!
