Where's Maverick? Funny Picture Caption!

I was looking at the toledoblade.com and came across this picture that shows a sunrise at cedar point with Magnum in the backgroud but it says "Cedar Point and Maverick at sunrise on Thursday"

Thought ya'll would get a kick out of it just like I did!

Darn all of those "M" roller coasters. I find myself calling Magnum Maverick and vise versa.

Hah and Maverick isnt even near SC or Magnum. Wow

When I was interviewed by a news station last week, they asked "have you ridden Magnum". I looked at the interviewer and said "Magnum? Yes, I have ridden Magnum!". The interviewer laughed and said, "okay, glad we are taping; Have you ridden Maverick?".

Happens all the time, poor Millennium got it too when it debuted, "Wheres Magnum Force?"

People have asked me "Is that Millennium there?" while pointing to Corkscrew. Wow.

Yeah, seriously. Most guests don't know the names of coasters. They ride what looks fun.

As long as they enjoy the ride and come back every year it doesn't really matter. I did hear a good mix-up name my last visit though. I heard a guest call Millennium Force the "Millennium Falcon."

I like that name. Maybe CP should change it. :)

They have maps. They should use them.

Ok well they should be able to tell the difference between a 310 ft. coaster with no inversions and a 85 ft. coaster with 3 inversions i mean..come on or at least look at a map. wow

It's the Toledo Blade, what do you expect? I think they just let all the union workers back in, so they've clearly forgotten how to write after all that time off.

You can't see most of MF from anywhere just by looking, though. Really, names don't matter to most people. Hell, I don't even call rides by their real names anymore. It's just not important.

^..Not anywhere eh?..i believe you can..and if people cant just simply look at a map to figure it out i can see MF from the parking lot..certaintly cant see Corkscrew from it..i can see it from many places where you cant see Corkscrew that makes it obvious that its Millennium Force..the number 2 coaster on the planet that clearly is nothing like Corkscrew.
