I have been going to Cp for quite awile and eveytime I eigther get cut in front of or someone around me gets it. And every time I get back I always question myself was that okay?
I've seen them all at CP; 65yrs cutting to the front of Paddlewheel or 15 10yr olds cutting on Magnum. I was wondering who to confront and how to handle it. I never really stopped anyone because I'm only 15 but after last years Maverick problem I'm going to start. I don't want to look mean but I want to stick up for me and the other hunder or so people in line that are all thinking the same. Some tips on handling linejumpers.

I'm guilty of being associated with line jumping. Last year me and my friend waited about 45 min for TTD and our other two friends cut the whole line to get with us on the main loading area. We pretty much told them to get back in line because that is ridiculous. Same day last year, two women cut 3/4 of Raptor and a group complained to workers, 5 min later the police (park police?) were there and they were escorted out.

I don't care if a couple of friends want to join up with their buddies, because I'm not a total dick. I understand how it works, especially if you're there to spend a day with your friends, you actually want to spend time with them.
It's different when people are purposely trying to beat the system, or purposely trying to be hardasses, I'll call anyone out on that.
If you are already in line and get out to grab a pop from the vending machine that is ok. But if you are in line for an hour and all of the sudden your friend that at the beginning did not want to ride decides "oh i think ill ride now" get in line after you have been waiting for hours That is not OK.,.

I usually yell out "line jumper coming through", and that sometimes prevents it (like the linejumper didn't know what they were doing). But not always. Sometimes it just isn't worth getting all worked up over one person and I will still most likely be on the same train I would have been had they not gotton ahead of me. Sometimes it isn't worth the hassle, and CP can't do anything really unless a ride host sees it happen, which for the most part sucks, but I understand.

The one and only time that I ever line jumped we got in line and noticed after a few minuets (came around a turn and saw them) about 8 - 10 people ahead of us part of the group that we came with. We (2 of us) asked the people ahead and they let us catch up.
If any of the people ahead had said no then I would have been content to wait, but since everyone said OK we went ahead and joined the group.
I have let singles or doubles through if they are nice about it and not going too far (a few people ahead) but usually I will block the way and not let them pass. So far have not had any issues, but that could be due to being 6'5" and 290lbs :)

The only reasons for line jumping are:
-Getting something from the vending machines
-Requesting a song at the DJ station
-Finding a police officer or ride host about a line jumper or other problem in the line
Anything other than that should not be let go in my opinion. Even the DJ and the recording at MF says that you can do those things. Going to the bathroom or getting food is NOT a reason for line jumping. The only other exception is as stated above if your group is like 10-15 people ahead and you are alone and everyone in front of you agrees that it is ok. I usually will let only a few people do this and only if they are like i said a few people behind there group.
I usually don't complain unless it gets really bad that day and i start getting frustrated. The thing i won't let go is smoking in the line. I can't stand that and i have called several people out on that.
The best advice if you plan to tell a ride host about it is to make sure at least two groups in front of you and in back of you can back up your story. The ride host might not do anything about it but at least you will always get your place back in line.
Line jumping should NEVER be tolerated. I always say something and/or report it. But I can agree to a small extent with TopThrillChris.
