When do the Gold Rooms open ?

I process in on the 19th and was wondering if the Gold Rooms will be open?

We were told yesterday that Golds does not open until Memorial Day; however if there are several days of good weather Golds may open early. It looked like there was a cleaning crew in there yesterday when my daughter processed in so I'm suspecting it will open soon. She had to move in Commons dorms but will be moving to Golds they day they open. If they open before the 19th I will update this post and let you know.

I would start checking with them starting Thursday. As soon as they get it cleaned they will get it opened.

Update - May 16, 1012: Cedars dorms are now open (mens). Golds is not open yet (womens).

No, Golds not open yet. But Saturday the cleaning people were seen in Golds again. When you process in on Sun you could ask if they are open yet. Never know what will happen between Sat and Sun. I did hear that there is a staffing issue - the housing staff is working 12 hr shifts due to not enough staff hired yet.

Golds dorms are scheduled to open Tuesday 5/29.
