when do i get to ride first coaster

i arrive april 15 and working resort foods when do i get to go on my first coaster

On your first day off.

either your first day off, or the first employee ride night! Whichever comes first. But both won't be until the park actually allows individuals on the coasters. I'm not sure if there are chances for employees to ride before the park actually opens. Maybe someone else can clear that up for me!

Nope, generally if you work on a coaster you'll ride it during the week before the park opens to get used to how it feels and the sounds it makes, and also for people to practice running it, but generally if you are not working in Rides or on a coaster you will not get to ride until it has opened to the public.

I've always wondered, if you don't process in until the middle of June, will they still put you on a coaster? Since you can't "practice" on it before the park opens to the public? A bit off topic, but oh well!

Yeah they will. Your trusty TLs and ATLs are burdened with training you while they are understaffed and trying to run breaks.

Who's afraid of the big bad... sea gull?

They usually have a Millennium Force ride night during training week. Thats what they did the past two summers. They probley will have a Wicked Twister one during training week to get the crew use to people before the first public ride.

They also have different rides running for training week. If i remember correctly we had a Swan Boats and Antique Cars, Sky Ride and Giant Wheel, and Monster, Dogems and Witches Wheel ride night all through out training week. So i guess we will see what they do this summer.

I remember my first year at CP in 2000. I worked on Raptor and one day we were told to go to Power Tower where we test rode it for 3 hours straight! I am sure other people have similar stories. This took place the week before the park opened. Also there was plenty of MF test riding the first year it opened. They had to have all of the cars filled to warm up the wheels or whatever. Yes there was a Monster Triangle ride nite. I remember it quite clearly. I've also been a part of an Ocean Motion Ride nite as well. But never a Kiddy Kingdom one.I really really want to ride the motorcycles and 4x4's. Those ride nites are usualy during clean up week
