what does this mean? Are they going to call me soon?

Food Service is, as you might imagine, all of the various food stands and restaurants affiliated with Cedar Point. There are two types: Quick Services, which are things like wagons (the food karts you see around the park) as well as things like the pretzel stand, the Fountain Frozen Custard stand, Toft's Ice Cream Parlor, Hurricane Hannah's, The Hot Potato, etc.

There are also restaurants like Midway Market and Chuck Wagon. and Red Garter Saloon. These also fall under the classification of Food Service, but they are not quick service.

I think when they talk about Franchises, they are talking about the people who are in charge of things like the Dairy Queen, Panda Express, Chick-fil-a and the TGI Fridays that's inside the park -- although I'm not sure because I've never worked at any of those.

I hope that helps. Usually it takes them awhile to get through all of their applications but don't worry, you'll be called back for an interview soon.

Here is what you need to do, since it has been about a week since they checked the application, you need to follow up. Cedar Point gets thousands of applications and if you are serious about getting the job, you need to stand out.

Today I did a follow up on my application for food services, I just receieved a email reply from them with a interview date. You need to stand out.

If you need help on a follow up email, google will help. Dont forget to start the email with Dear Mr. (name) or Dear Mrs. (name) It will make you look for professional.

Good luck.
