When and how will I find out???

Ok, so I admit that I can be impatient--especially when it comes to finding out if I'm going to work at CP this summer!! I just sent in my application last night online and today I checked the status and it said someone from Park Operations had reviewed it. When can I expect a response? Will it be over the phone? Any info on how this application process works would be much appreciated because right now I'm clueless. Thanks so much!! :)

They will give you a call and interview you over the phone. You should receive a phone call within the next week or two. They have lots of apps. to read through so be patent. That's if they hire you but you have a high chance of getting hired because they still need people.

Last year I never got an email... they just called me over the phone but then again last year they didn't have this whole deal where you could check the status of your application. Most likely it'll get reviewed by a few more people before you get a call or an email. It'll take a couple of days though, but it's good to see that you're anxious to get a response. Hope it turns out good for you.

Thanks for all the quick responses!! Do they conduct an interview over the phone? What types of questions do they typically ask? I am really wanting a job that will qualify as an internship such as Guest Relations so do you think I still have a chance at getting a job like that? I know they've been hiring for awhile now.... Plus I'm only available for about 12 weeks. Any advice or tips you guys can give me would be much appreciated. Keep your fingers crossed for me! :)

Well, they do conduct over the phone interviews. They ask the same questions other jobs ask, don't worry!!!Well, if you're looking into an internship in Guest Relations, you should contact the Foods Services office because they hire in a group of people especially fro Guest Relations. Well, 12 weeks is three months and that is how long a lot of college students stay. When they interview, just be yourself and calm down.

Complicated Girl just gave a great suggestion for a Guest Relations Position. When you call Foods ask to speak to Thom Faneuff and tell him you are interested in the Patio Relations Department. They do a lot of stuff like the Courtesy Corps, in our department, and their main focus in Guest Relations.

I don't mean to be rude to any of the new employees, I know you are excited, but this is probably the third time or so that someone new has posted this same topic. Just wait it out...they will call you when they have time to call you. Unless you're some sort of convicted felon or are five years old, they'll hire you. :)

Leeway huh? Thats what you guys want? Nobodies being hard on you but IheartTC is right. There's been a few other posts like this that i've replied to just like I replied to this one. My question for you is what happens if you're on the job and you screw up. What are you going to do... go to management and say "ooops i'm a first year give me a little leeway". Sorry but it doesn't work like that. Man... i'm really sounding like a jerk but I truthfully am a nice guy so please don't take offense. None of us who have been at CP before mean to come off rude or anything like that to you guys but you just need to chill a little bit. Like IhearTC said, we know you're excited... we've been there before. Just try and relax a little bit.
