Whats your plan for your first vsit to the POINT?

Well i have already made plans for opening weekend. Me and my best friend are going the Sunday after they open. May 17th, I figure i cant go opening day might as well make it down there the day after. I hope they have all the kinks out of maverick. If you remember my last trip was cut short due to those punk @$$ kids that told CP police that my friend slap them in the line for maverick. and i was hoping to ride maverick a few more times. But all well that's another topic. So i want to hit maverick early in the season so i can get more rides in this year.

So what are your plans for your first visit???

Ride Magnum. Over and Over.

The first visit will be opening weekend. After checking into the breakers,

i will then kiss the ground. The remainder of friday evening, relax and

have dinner. The saturday, sunday, monday- ride maverick first and

enjoy the entire park. Is it may yet?

I'll be at least attempting to get the first train on MF. Staying opening day through the Monday afternoon hitting up the whole park. And of course a lot of rides on MF.

Well, since I only live about 5 min away from the park, I'll probably go for about 5 hours and then go home. I'll grab something to eat and then come back at night for some fun riding at night. But, I am gonna attempt to ride Mavvie a few times.

ask me for my facebook.

Your lucky, to live five minutes from the park. I plan to come to cedar point at least three times this season. I also want to be there during

fourth of july and halloweekends.

Living 5 minutes from the park means she lives in Ohio though! I'm not sure how that's lucky......

It's lucky because I can go anytime I want to the park, silly!

Living five minutes from a amusement park would be cool.

Actually, it gets old really fast. I have been going to the park since i was about 3 years old. I tell people how close I live to the park and they all say "wow you are so lucky". I tell them that it's really no big deal.

I know I plan to go on opening day! I have it on my calender! I can't wait to get on the coasters again. My family is also planning to hit Kings Island in the spring! We also are in the works to visit my husband's brothers in California. They live about35 minutes from Knots Berry Farm. I know I am counting the days to be on the coasters!!!!

Life is like a rollercoaster! It is full of ups and downs

Depends...

Gas prices, personal finances.

Since CP isn't going to be getting anything worthwhile it looks like...to at least get something at say MIA would be a bonus.

I am just I dunno I am up in the air. I spend all this money on the point in driving and I am looking at airline costs...and I am like man for just a little more we could be down in Orlando....

It might mean we forfeit are chance to get to the point for a summer. But I seriously will never go to the point 10x in a year spending $90-100 in gasoline.

I know the economy will be in a slump and gas prices will be lower next summer, but still. I feel like a douche spending over $60 on gasoline for a single day trip.

Than the two day trip you have hotel costs plus....the park gets a little boring on day two.

Like I said before I do not feel all that enthused about spending $150 plus gas and food to go sit and wait an hour for Maverick.

Than you go and it can be so damn hot, and it's like we don't travel 4.5 hours to go to a water park....

Speaking of water park I thought hey yeah MIA was really cool blah blah with their water park. But then I remember some unpleasant smells and I have to say that it really...really made me not want to be in public pools.

I felt like I needed to be wearing sandals.

Hubby and I plan on hitting KI alot once open. Can NOT wait to ride Diamondback!! Living only 1.25 from KI totally rocks compared to the 2.75 to CP :)

If not getting to CP OD, (depends on any horse shows) will be getting there that Sunday. A religion to ride Raptor front row for 1st ride of the season :)

I can't believe we are actually discussing OD already. Winter isn't even over yet (in as much I am positive many of us in Ohio would wish Mother Nature would stop being such a bit**) countdown to OD always makes the winter go that much slower!!! :(

Happy '09 All! :)

It's all about getting around the barrels, or over the fences, right leads, no faults, fastest time and looking pretty when done. What's so hard about that?
