Whats the farthest you have ever traveled?

What is the farthehest you have ever travled(or would travel) for any one amusment park or roller coaster?Me personally the farthest I have ever travled was form Cedar Point to Dorney Park and that took 9 and a half hours on a bus that left at midnight and to me it was very well worth it.I forgot three years ago when I flew out ot California I went to pga.so by plane it was pga but by car/bus it was dorney which I enjoyed more than pga.

I went from Six Flags Darien Lake to Carowind's leaving a 11 A.M. Ahhh...good road trips! Just lucky enough that a ride to Cedar Point is never a rode trip ;)

Farthest I have ever gone was to Disneyland, then second comes DisneyWorld.

NOFXtremeStreak you said it! Im glad that CP isnt a road trip either!

Disneyworld... We had to take an airplane but I know it was from SE Michigan to Florida. So, that is definately the farthest for me.

If you count taking airplanes, Knott's Berry Farm, X-Mas '99. Took a night ride on Ghostrider, and probably one of the last to ever ride Windjammer.

SE Michigan to SoCal. Definitely a long trip (especially when you're on a crappy McDonnal Douglas plane where you open the window and have a great view of the JET ENGINE! err Spirit Airlines....)

Longest family road trip - south metro Twin Cities to BGT - 1650 miles

Longest solo trip - Lake Compounce - 1300 miles, though this wasn't a trip solely to visit the park.

While the CPlaya 100 will involve more coasters than any other trip to date (minimum 32), it only involves parks within a 700-mile radius from home.

Coming 6/6/02--the CoastaPlaya 100! See CBuzz Club Calendar for more...

Man, CoastaPlaya you rock! Here I am fussing about a trip to CP thats 410 miles and you with your miles into the thousands. Never again will I fuss. :)

Pearl Jam + Cedar Point=Heaven on earth.

SW Michigan to Orlando for me

Given the means to do it I would travel anywhere. Heres to hoping for a job where I make a whole heck of a lot of money and get a lot of vacation time.

Welcome back Magnum riders how was your ride?

I live in Ontario, Canada.

Last week on my birthday I left at 4am with 3 hour sleep.  Drove 5 hours to CP, got there at 9am.  Was in the park from 10 to 8.  Ate dinner, then drove home the 5 hours.   I had to do all the driving.

I got home at 4am because I stopped so many times from exhaustion.

Nice 12 hour road trip to Cedar Ppint for my birthday.  I figured where else would I rather spend my birthday?

From our home in Lansing, MI to Blackpool Pleasure beach in my native north of England, 3625 miles.  And back.

Ironically, neither my wife nor myself actually rode anything.  :)

Longest I'd be willing to travel? Well, I wouldn't mind taking a trip to Tragic Mountain just to see what it's really like. The longest I've ever traveled is from Toledo to PKI, a whopping 4 hours.

Well I flew to Chicago so Raptor Ralph wouldn't have to drive by himself. Four hour flight and seven hour drive. The return drive seemed shorter, actually it was by two hours, only because of the buzz.
PA to CA. I'd love to go to the UK. Lots of cool looking parks over there.

The farthest I've gone strictly for coasters was from Harrisburg PA to Minneapolis for Valleyfair! I've had trips to parks that were a greater distance, but usually worked the park in around an existing trip for something else.

The farthest I've gone (so far) is from Michigan (detroit area) to Las Vegas. Rode Manhattan Express and Canyon Blaster. Still want to get back to ride Speed.

The farthest I'd go would be to England to visit the parks there. More likely I'll get to California for Knotts and SFMM.

I'd rather die living than live like I'm dead

I have to say my biggest driving trips for coaster riding is from here in Ohio to Tampa. Then a couple of years ago I drove to Lake Compounce, SFNE, Canobie Lake, Funtown USA, then into Nova Scotia,New Brunswick, Quebec, and Montreal for more parks. Then hit CP on they way home. Whole trip was 5 days.

You are the Weakest Link, Goodbye.

I spent 3 days on The California Zepyer, even the indignity of a derailment in Sacramento! to spend March 1st at SFMM. After most of the next day at US:Hollywood I spent two more days on the train coming back to Indy.

Detroit to Taiwan, although I guess you could say originally starting in Baltimore. Distancewise, go halfway around the world and stop.
