What would a 500 ft. coaster type be called???

There has been a lot of talk about a 500 ft. coaster at Cedar Point. Personally, I would love to see one, but I don't see that happening any time soon. If there were to be a 500 foot roller coaster anywhere, what do you think it would be referred to as? In terms of Coaster-Type, not the "name".

You have 300=giga, and 400=strata. Would it be a Concorde coaster? Is there some sort of set names in place?

It's the prefixe following after giga. AND it comes from the Greek word "teras" meaning "monster".

Yeah, I don't want any coaster at Cedar Point to look the same as TTD or Ka either, but seriously now, it isn't going to be a 500 foot coaster.

if its a traditional style like MF maybe it'll be a Super Giga roller caoster.

Or, if its more like TTD, I hope not, maybe it would be a super strata roller coaster.

Just a thought.

First there was the Mega-Coaster! Then came the Giga-Coaster! Followed by the Strata-Coaster! And now introducing the worlds first 500 foot roller coaster...the Atmospheric-Coaster!!!

I remember thinking that a 400 ft. would be called tera, and was real surprised by the word "Strata-coaster". But now I think it sounds pretty nice ;). Tera sounds awesome because it´s almost pronounced like "terror" (I think ;) ). Terror-coaster, wow! It will come someday, but not next year.
