What will CP do with the former Wildcat Space?

The issue with the ballroom has always been accessibility. As I understand, and I don't know the full story, but there may issues with the building that make upgrading a challenge.

And there is no place in Soak City to house 400+ people, 25 makeup artists, wardrobe, props, and the people's personal things.

A rental tent would not work.

Not to mention a rental tent would be so cold on some weekends everybody would quit. They most definitely need more than that. The infrastructure involved with halloweekends at this point is enormous, not even a move back to the good time theater could support their needs. Come to think of it I can't come up with one single building that could meet all the needs other than the ballroom. It could be elsewhere but it would have to split into sections and either have "cells" that function on their own to fit everything in, or find some other logical way to break it all up.

In Steve's defense, I thought it was a Q until a few months ago. It's not everyday you see an O followed by a u in the English language.

Too bad it wasn't a Q, that could be his nickname like on James Bond

Well I sure hope its a part of a bigger coaster project. Cedar Point is disappointing me with all this dumb stuff this year.

Continue your disappointment then, because there's nothing even close to indicating that's what their real plan was, and it's not always about the coasters, they've got to do stuff for the regular folk too.

LOL....come on now, you can't be serious. The changes coming to the park this year are well welcomed by a lot of people. I guess you'll always have complainers though...

It sure sounds French even without the Q. Now my last name is French and just as troubling to say. Try pronouncing Grignon without saying "Grig" "non" (since it's the route just about everyone takes with it). :) The correct pronunciation is "Gree no".

Come on, the improvements this year are great for the park. I just want the area to be nice come opening day. I don't wanna see any equipment or left over WildCat pieces. Honestly, I don't see anything going on with the area. It will be used as intended, to provide space for Luminosity and maybe more food stands.

I think thing we've not yet acknowledged the fact that this new area is not solely for Luminosity. They've stated that the stage/area can be used during the day as well as for various other things. So the newly expanded area can be utilized in many different ways for those various events, shows, contests, etc etc.
