What was your first coaster?

Mine was the now Defunct "Orient Express" at Worlds of fun in 1999. If anyone has been to Worlds of Fun knows how crappy the new coaster is compared to the Orient Express.

I Loved Orient Express it was my first coaster and will forever be my Favorite.

But Patriot isn't crappy. Will it ever take OE place in my eyes no but far from crappy.

My very first coaster, was the very first coaster to use tubular steel track. The Matterhorn at Disneyland when I was super young... I don't even remember how old I was.

My first coaster at CP was the Cedar Creek Mine Ride, back in 87'.

My first coaster was called "The Screamer" at Boblo Island, which closed in 1993. My first ride at CP and first trip ever was Blue Streak in 1994 and I have been going every year since.

I'm pretty sure my first coaster was Jr. Gemini, at CP in 1981. If you don't want to call that coaster, then my first would probably be either Wildcat, or CCMR, I don't remember anymore!

Take care and God bless!

My first coaster happened to be at Cedar Point. It was Blue Streak in 1979. I was 12. Prior to that I was terrified to get on one. Next would have been Corkscrew if I remember correctly.

ROLLERCOASTERPSYCHO67-

Was that the smaller wooden coaster towards the back of the park, near the Haunted House dark ride?

If so, that was my first coaster as well. It's a shame that the park burnt down.

The Dragon Coaster at Dorney...hahaha does that one even count? My first real coaster would have been the Thunderhawk, also at Dorney.

My first CP coaster was TTD.

It's always time for a Cedar Point road trip!

Let's here it for the Little Dipper at Memphis Kiddy Park! :)

Big Dipper. Though when I was really young I remember the name Clipper. Anyone know when this changed from Clipper to BD? My 1st at CP was CCMR.

According to RCDB the name changed from Clipper to Big Dipper in 1969. So I either rode Big Dipper or the Clipper as my 1st, but same coaster either way. Anyone else remember the long wooden levers the ride operators used? I do... I also remember riding BD/C with only the bar that locked into the car, no belts. On one ride it was not locked and I hung on to the side of the car as well as the bar hoping not to fly out. Wow, what a scary ride, and I was just a kid then! TTD would have been a walk in the park compared to that experience! :)

Don't get irritated because he posted his first Cedar Point coaster in a thread that wasn't yours. I would think it better to have one board up than two very similar ones anyway.

Has anyone heard that BPB may be building a 500ft coaster for 07? There are footers all over the park and on the Bridge.

I was helping him by telling him to search. How was I irritated? Also, your second sentence contradicts the first.
